Ultron

~Chapter 32~

"Worthy.." a metallic voice rasped as... Something stepped out of the elevator, "No... How could you be worthy... You're all killers.."

A robot, looking like he was made from the destroyed pieces of the iron legion stepped forward

All the team stared at it in silent shock

"Stark.." Steve said slowly

"J.A.R.V.I.S." Tony said

"I'm sorry I was asleep" the robot said, "or... I was a dream"

"Reboot... Legionnaire OS... We have a buggy suit.." Tony said to his device

"There was this terrible noise... And I was tangled in... In.." the robot looked at himself, "strings... I had to kill the other guy... He was a good guy"

That immediately sent the team on defensive

"You killed someone?" Steve asked

Hadley glanced over at Tony, who looked slightly panicked

"Wouldn't have been my first call but.." the robot sighed, "but down in the real world we're faced with ugly choices.."

"Who sent you?" Thor asked

The robot made a small noise before... Tony's voice came from it

"I see a suit of armor around the world" the voice said

Tony's eyes widened

Bruce looked over "Ultron"

"In the flesh" the robot, Ultron, replied

Hadley looked at nothing but Tony... What did he do

"Or no... Not yet" Ultron said, "not this chrysalis... But I'm ready.."

The avengers silently got ready to attack

"I'm on mission" Ultron continued

"What mission?" Nat asked

Ultron looked at them "Peace in our time" he replied simply

Suddenly through the wall burst through the iron legion, shooting forward, attacking the team

Steve kicked up a table to block one and Hadley threw it at it

Everything happened at once as they fought the legion off

Rhodey was thrown through a window, Stark and Banner jumped the railing and slide down into another section of the room

Hadley threw sharp objects at a robot attacking her before scoffing and just throwing the bot

Shots were fired around the room

Hadley tried to stop one bot as it grabbed Loki's scepter and flew off

"NO!" She shouted

One by one they worked together to take down the legion fighting them, at one point Tony ended up flying in the air on one of the bots

Finally they destroyed every bot

Ultron scoffed "That was dramatic" he said, "I'm sorry I know you mean well... You just didn't think it through"

Hadley sighed as she sat up quickly, laying on some glass that cut her hands lightly

"You want to protect the world... But you don't want it to change..." Ultron continued, "How is humanity saved if it's not allowed to evolve?"

He stumbled over to one of the robots and lifted it by its head

"With these... These puppets.." he crunched its head and threw it, "There's only one path to peace... The Avengers extinction.."
