Sally's P.O.V
"Good morning Miss Stark. It's 3am, the weather in Malibu is 72 degrees with scattered clouds. At 5am you will be catching the Stark private jet to Afghanistan for the weapon demonstration with your father. Also it's Miss Pott's birthday today" JARVIS informed causing me to groan and roll out of bed.
Not bothering to change out of my PJ's I headed downstairs. After making myself a coffee I headed into the basement and found dad working on his car.
"Hey Sal" dad greeted "Morning" I replied, sleep lacing my voice as I headed over to my desk and continued working on my blueprints from last night. "What time were you up to last night?" dad asked as I took a sip from my coffee. "2am"
---
We had worked on our separate projects in silence for the last two hours that was until an alarm went off upstairs. I got up and headed up stairs, dad trying to stop me.
I stood at the top of the stair case to find one of dads one night stands wearing only wearing one of his shirts. I let out a sigh I should have known. This managed to gain her attention as she walked over to me
"You must be Tony's daughter, Sally. I'm Christine Everhart, I work for Vanity Fair..." She droned on "I dont care" I cut her off as I walked into the kitchen and made myself some toast.
Mum walked in soon after with some clothes in her hand "you must be the famous Pepper Potts" the reporter greeted.
"Indeed I am" mum said "your cloths have been dry cleaned and pressed and there a car out front that will take you anywhere you want to go."
"And after all these years tony still has you picking up the dry cleaning" the reporter said.
"I do everything and anything Mr Stark requires including occasionally taking out the trash" the reporter was then speechless. "Farewell" I called unable to hid the smirk on my face as she stormed out.
"Happy birthday" I said giving mum a hug and making a mental note to get mum a present because I had completely forgotten. "You rely should be getting ready" mum stressed "Later" I mummbled as I finished of my toast and went down to the basement.
The music came to a stop causing me to look up from my work to see mum walking into the workshop. "You two should be halfway around the world right now and Sal your still in your pajamas go get dressed"
"Fine, fine" I said putting my hand up and walking out.
I picked out a nice suit to wear and the chest plate that I was forced to wear as we are going into a war zone. I quickly packed a bag and grabbed my suitcase off the floor that I had already pre-packed.
I threw my suitcase down from the staircase and slid down the banister meeting mum at the bottom. "Bye mum" I said as she pulled me into a hug "Stay safe" mum said "Dont worry, I will" I said as I pulled out of the hug.
Happy walked into the room and grabbed my suitcase "Come on Sal, we have to go" Happy called out as I followed him down to the basement.
"Ready to go?" Happy asked dad as he chucked my suitcase in the back of the car. "Race?" dad asked Happy as he jumped in his car and I did the same. Happy agreed and we pulled out of the basement and headed to the airport me and dad in the lead by a long way.
We pulled up and happy did not long after "Thought I lost you back there" dad said, laughing.
"You did sir had to cut across Mulholland" Happy said "oh I got you I got you" dad said as began heading up the stairs to our private jet.
"Three hours, for three hours you kept me waiting" Rhodey complained. I'm surprised his not used to this by now.
"Waiting on you now wheels up rock 'n' roll" dad said as we headed off to Afghanistan.
