Chapter Six

 Sally's P.O.V

I was screaming as dad and I began hurtling toward the ground. I landed on my leg and oh god did it hurt "not bad" I could her dad say  "what" dad said worried "landed on my leg" I said.

Dad got up then helped me up and I hugged him so tight I never wanted to let go as I started crying "hey its ok we escaped someone will find us soon enough" dad said.

"Yeah but Yinsen didn't" I said looked up at dad "I know but his with family now" dad said I wiped my eyes and tried to ignore the massive amount of pain that was in my leg.

 Dad pulled his jacket of and put it round his head I went to do the same but almost feel due to my leg "here I got it" dad said taking my jacket and putting it round my head I put my arm round dads waist as he was tall and we started walking.

It felt like days that we were walking but in reality it probably only been a couple hours.

A plan come over head and I was so happy I didn't care about my leg as I waved my arm above my hands above my head running forward yelling dad doing the same thing beside me then my leg gave way and I fell.

 Dad fell to the ground as well as the plane landed. Rhodey ran over to us with a bunch of soldiers.

"How was the fun-vee" he said and started laughing so did dad and me I didn't care I was saved I have never felt more happy in my life then I am right now.

 Rhodey kneeled down and said in a serious voice "next time you ride with me okay" we hugged.

 Dad got up and I went to get up but couldn't "Rhodey could I get some help here" he helped me up  I put my arm around his neck then another soldier walked over and  I put my other arm round his neck they were so much taller than me feet didn't touch the ground.

They took me to the plane and sat me down next to dad I said "god I regret running" just then then a soldier handed dad and me a bottle of water "do you have any pain killers" I asked Rhodey.

"Yeah" he said getting up he came back with the pain killers I took them and just leaned against my dad's shoulder thinking about everything we just went throw and how glad I am to be here.

They took us to a military base to check us over they gave me some more painkillers for my leg witch turns out to be broken they put it in a cast then I got given crutches dad hurt his arm so it's in a sling we both had showers as soon as we got here dad and I had changed into a suit and its thick enough to hid the arc reactor.

I was sitting at the table eating breakfast waiting to get on the plane to go home "Sal I'm going to shut down the weapons manufacture at Stark industries" dad said.

"Yeah I think we should" I said remembering all of our weapons those terrorist had.

Couple minutes later Rhodey come in and said "come on were leaving."
