"When my price got fixed."
Chapter 8:
"Meet me, I'm Edward Turner and I'm a Vampire." he winked.
I chuckled.
He smiled back.
"Are you not feeling cold?" i asked.
"Cold? No?" he said all calmly.
"oh o-" i suddenly sneezed.
"You're feeling cold Bella." he said as he gave me his jacket and wrapped me in his warm arms. His strong arms wrapped around me and i dugged my head into his chest. His chin rested on my head. I felt so comfortable with him. I felt safe, i hope it never changes.
So what if he doesn't like me, i like him even though he's like a 145 year old man, oh i mean A Vampire. Somewhere deep inside i know he won't ever harm me, he will always protect me no matter what.
"Edward?" i whispered.
"Yeah?" he muttered in my hair.
"Promise me something?" i asked.
"Yes?" he whispered said.
"You will protect me?" i asked.
His grip on me loosened as he looked down at me into the eyes.
"Forever and always my love." he said and kissed my forehead.
I hugged him tightly.
"Sorry for everything Bella, i know you love me but i don't have the same feelings for you. Maybe i will love you, it will take time for me. After what Roseline had done to me, i never trusted anyone and never loved anyone. Maybe you are the person who will teach me what love is again." he smiled.
I said nothing and closed my eyes. I just wanted to pause this moment. I know Edward will love me back someday till then i will just keep looking at how charming he is and how hot his body is. I smiled to myself.
"Bella lets go back home. Its getting cold and i know you're very hungry." he said and got up.
I nodded and got up too.
As i got up, sharp pain rushed through my body and i shrilled.
Edward turned back and came to me.
"Bella, Bella whats wrong?" he asked with a worried expression.
"Im sore!" i screamed.
"What?" he asked all confused.
"Idiot im sore down there!" i screamed said.
He looked at me with the most cute and confused face and we both broke down laughing. Its so cute when he laughs. I love to see this side of him as he's always either angry or looks depressed.
"Oh my god! Okay okay im so sorry Bella." he said as he tried to control his laugh and look at me with a serious face.
"Im not experienced. Don't know how to tackle such things." i said still laughing.
"So you think i am experienced Bella?" he said.
"WHAT?" I screamed.
"Yes?" he said with his puppy dog face.
"You mean you 145 year old Vampire didn't ever had you know, sex in his life?" i asked- stated.
"Yes Bella." he said and smiled.
"No way Edward! No way!" i said not believing what he said.
"Really Bella, trust me. I am a pure soul. I mean I WAS." he winked as he stressed on the words 'pure soul'.
I chuckled.
"Now come on help me atleast so i can walk upto the car." i said.
"Sure love!" he said as he picked me up and threw me over his shoulders.
"Edward!" i screamed.
"What? You asked me to help you." he chuckled.
I swear i could never win from Edward. Why he needs to be so sweet at times. I mean only at times. Im scared when he gets angry.
Edward slowly placed me on the car seat and quickly came to the driver's seat.
"Edward are you hungry?" i asked out of nowhere.
"Nope babe, had my fresh meal before coming here." he winked.
I laughed sarcastically and rolled my eyes.
The journey way back home was silent.
The car came to a halt and Edward got out, he quickly opened my door and helped me out.
"Get in, i'll close the gate and come." he signalled for me go inside.
I nodded and turned around to get inside but stopped as soon as i heard Edward scream my name.
"Bella!" he screamed.
The only thing i heard was his faint voice as i passed out.
