If I could shoot lasers out of my eyes right now, Asher would be a dead man. It was too early. My mates were still fast asleep, snuggling happily with each other in bed. I should be in bed right now, not out here, staring at Asher's ugly annoying face.

He glared back at me as I held the mug tighter in my hands. It was five in the morning, five! My whole body ached, I got less than four hours of sleep, and this shithead tried to use my coffee machine.

"You are such a strange wolf." He observed from across the dining room, he held a mug in his hands and donned an evil smirk on his face, I was going to pound that smirk into the ground and I was not going to regret it. My mates were not here to stop me from reacting, and neither was his brother.

I took a long, loud sip of my coffee, making sure to glare at him over the rim of my mug, "You know what's strange?" I asked. He opened his mouth to answer but I snapped, "Waking up at five fucking am, are you a fucking psychopath?!" I snarled.

Snapping his mouth shut, Asher slowly smiled at me, "What is there to do around here?" He asked.

I leaned back into the counter, wishing I could just lay down on my kitchen floor and sleep. "Other than being shot in the woods and drowning in the lake out front, nothing dipshit." I barked and took another sip of my life juice.

The smell of coffee drew me out of bed, maybe it could bring me back?

Asher barked with laughter, his smirk still plastered on his face. Layla growled in my mind, wanting to smack the daylights out of him, but I restrained myself and smirked right back at him.

"That all sounds fun, but I'd like to keep all my blood in my body thanks," he grumbled, pouting slightly, and slumped back into the wall. "You know what I find interesting?" He hummed as he sipped his coffee. I hummed, looking down at the light brown liquid in my cup. "How do you live with a three-way bond without getting all jealous when another mate gets more attention than you?"

My head snapped up at the question, anger burning the back of my throat as I set my mug down on the counter with a slam, liquid sloshed over the rim of the mug and onto my hand but I didn't care.

"We all love and care for each other equally. I would do anything for both of them, we make it work, Asher," I bit out his name, "Now if you excuse me, I'm going on a run." I took a few steps to my glass sliding doors, "Don't touch my coffee machine or I will kill you." I said seriously.

Asher's eyes were wide as he took a small step back then started to follow me outside. I ignored him as I made my way down my frozen wood steps and marched barefoot through the snow. Carson's shirt was the only thing I wore other than underwear, but I wasn't cold. I made my way behind a tree when I ripped my shirt off over my head and let the shift take over. Within a blink, I stood on four paws.

I shook out my fur and took a step for the woods in front of me, but a large dark brown wolf stepped in front of me. Immediately I knew this was Asher. I growled loudly at him, wanting to be alone. This douce obviously didn't like me, and he knew I didn't like him, so what was the point of trying to follow me.

I didn't give Asher a chance to growl back as a giant ball of snow slowly formed over his head, I let it drop with a grin and took off into the brush. I heard a loud angry howl from behind me before his paws beat against the ground behind me.

We circled around the lake twice, Asher growling and snarling behind me. If I could laugh in my wolf form I would have. This was ridiculous. I wasn't tired as I zoomed through a bush and jumped over a fallen log before skidding to a stop in front of my house, turned around to gloat at beating him back but he slammed into my side. We both went flying into the side of the house and our heads smashed together with a sickening crunch.

I went to snap at him as a growl burst from the brush next to us. I froze in my spot as a giant wolf stepped over the log. His fur was blond and matted with blood and missing spots of fur. His eyes glowed red, and a nervous sound bubbled from my throat.

A rogue.

Why were there so many of them around?

The rouge took a threatening step forward, his tail swishing from side to side as he observed Asher and me. My paws slid out into a fighting stance as nervous bubbles in my stomach like man eating butterflies.

Asher released a snarl as he lunged forward, aiming for the rouge's front paws. But the rogue was faster, it jumped forward and over Asher only to tackle me back into the side of the house. I gasped as I tried to gain the upper hand, his sharp paws trying to dig into the skin of my belly, but I clamped my jaw around his snout and bit down hard. The wolf howled and whimpered, backing away before shooting out once more but Asher had bit down on his tail, preventing him from coming closer to me.

I stood from the ground and shifted back to my human form. I knew I was naked, but being insecure could wait till after the fight. I spread my hands at my sides, took a deep breath and jumped the rogue wolf. He howled as my icy hands came around his neck and froze the skin, he slowly shifted back to human as his blood started to freeze and he didn't give in to my power till he was dead beneath me.

I shot off the dead body like it was a bomb, "Holy shit," I ran my hands through my hair. Looking down at Asher once, I turned and ran to the trees to find my shirt. Slipping it in over my head I burst through the tree line and ran for the house. I noticed that Asher had shifted back and was kneeling over the body but I didn't stop in front of him. I ran up the steps and burst through the back doors to find my frantic mates already reaching for the handle.

I all but fell into their arms as I panted and pointed behind me, "T-there is something wrong." I took a few sharp breaths, their eyes never once leaving me, "Something is happening," I looked behind me, at the dead body, "Something is coming."
