Chapter 15: the AUDACITY

It was beyond hard to focus with my mates in school with me. Carson and Ryder were always attention needy, but in school, they seemed so much worse. All I wanted to do was crawl into a hole and die and all they wanted to do was touch me and talk to me.

How was I supposed to graduate with them in half of my classes?!

It was almost liked they planned it, Ryder and Carson were in every other class I was in. Right now I was listening to my bio teacher talk about Darwin's theory when Carson poked me with his pen and Ryder broke into a fit of snickers next to him. I rolled my eyes and as the bell rang I hopped out of my seat, ready to march my ass out of the room and get some godsdamned food because I was starving. But as I swung my bag over my shoulder my teacher called for me to stay a couple of minutes after the bell, I grumbled and told my mates to go to the cafeteria and I'd meet them there when Mr. Lartiene was done talking to me. They didn't want to leave me but I threatened to freeze a few very important body parts off and they were off in a wink.

I smirked as I headed to the front of the class, "You asked for me Mr. Lartiene?" I hummed. He nodded his head and Layla and I could both smell the fear dripping off him in waves. I knew that his fear was because of me, and instead of making me feel powerful it made me feel guilty and terrible. The smirk fell off my face and I held my bag tightly in my fists as sadness pounded in my brain like a gorilla.

Mr. Lartiene stood from his desk, his chest puffed out and his wolf shining in his eyes as he tried to radiate dominance, but I was an Alpha female and we both knew his Gamma ass was in no way more dominant to my wolf. But I let him pretend because if I didn't I knew everything would become much much worse. "Sir?" I asked with my head tilted.

He growled loudly and smashed his fist into the table, "Aspen, I have let you sit in my class like you are equal to every other student, but Alpha told me what you did, you killed two men," he drawled, "And now you sit in my class and fool around with those boys while I teach." he snarled, my eyes were wide and my body tensed as I glared into his glowing eyes. Layla pounded on the gate I had put between us, I was trying to act stubble and get this over with but Layla wanted to put this fat ass in his place. I knew my eyes were glowing as I fought for control, "I will not allow this nonsense in my class, Aspen, this is a safe place for students and you bring danger with you everywhere you go." He growled.

My heart froze as I tried to process his words, "What do you mean?" I growled out, Layla was slowly beating me for control. I could feel my nails extending into claws slowly and my teeth started to sharpen and elongate.

He didn't seem to notice my wolf was taking control as he slammed his fist down on the table, "You are a whore, Aspen, a dirty rotten slut and I don't want you in this school much less my class." he bit each word out.

I was normally good at hiding my emotions and keeping my wolf down, I was good at taking the abuse without protest, but my body was out of whack from finding my mates and this stupid fucking guy thinks it's okay to insult an Alpha.

I took a few steps towards him, my teeth barred, "Who are you to say any of that to me!" I snarled and stomped my foot, ice shot from my foot, and the ground was covered in an icy sheen.

He tried not to cower away from me, but It was impossible not to be scared when I was in this state. The wind blew madly around me despite the fact we were indoors, my hair whipped around my face and my eyes glow like lights, my teeth were barred and my hands were claws. I was a thing straight from nightmares.

He managed to stand his ground as he took a step towards me, "I am an adult who is supporting his Alpha!" He spat, "You need to be put down Aspen, you are no wolf you are a dog, a slutty dog." He snapped at me.
