I didn't stay at school much. As soon as we were given the books, I left as everyone did.

I didn't want to go home either.

The only place I want to be is anywhere with him.

With Marcus.

Anywhere else is just too boring.

But I kinda messed up with him too.

He's going to be back home late at night. Since then I have to stay at home.

Me: I'm back.

Mum: Honey, come here.

I went to the living room, confused.

Then I saw mum and dad packaging some stuff.

Mum: Please remind your dad who got this couch.

Me: Excuse me?

Dad: I told you so many times. I don't care if you take it or not. But just admit that I bought this!

Mum: That's a lie. When Olivia was five, I went to buy it after work.

Dad: And where was I?

Mum: I don't freaking remember.

Me: Guys?

They looked at me.

Me: You guys arguing for a damn couch?

Dad: Your mum is lying, baby.

Mum: We don't want to fight in front of you, Olivia. We're sorry.

Dad: YOU started this fight. Don't act like you're innocent in front of our child!

Me: I can't believe you're doing this.

Mum: Don't worry. We're getting out of here sooner than I had planned.

Me: What do you mean?

Dad: Wait. Have Olivia decided yet? We said we're not going to the court, but this will be HER decision.

Me: When, mum?

Mum: I have found a house with my mother and father.

Dad: Yeah let me explain her first.

Mum: Sweety I swear I didn't want this either-

Dad: Mum is leaving the whole damn country and she wants to take you with her. You're going to live with your grandparents.

Me: Country? I think we were just going to leave this city. And I also thought grandma and grandpa live in the same country as we do.

Dad: "We"? So, you're leaving with her?

Me: Dad... You know I need mum. But nothing is sure yet.

Dad: You have your life here. Your friends, your school, your boyfriend... And me.

Some tears fell down on my cheeks.

Mum: What's wrong?

Olivia: I don't have so many things right here. But yes, I have you and you're important. But you're both breaking my damn heart when you fight all the time. I can't stand this.

Mum: That's why we're leaving as soon as possible.

Dad: You can't take her away for me! It's my daughter! And she'll be far away.

Mum: She's a big girl. She'll make the right decision. If she wants to come with me, we're gonna find a way to see her.

Dad: Bullshit. Don't take my daughter.

Me: It will be MY decision. Stop it.

Dad: So, you're leaving everything here?

Me: I HAVE NOTHING HERE DAD! I used to have a best friend that now is gone, I used to have friends that are now against me... I have a boyfriend who-

I can't do this anymore.

I started crying.

I could barely talk.

My stomach was hurting from the fear of running away of this life.

Me: I have a boyfriend who hates me.

My parents didn't say anything.

I started crying out loud and left the room.

No one followed me.

I heard them arguing again and that broke me inside.

They don't care about me anymore.
I'm alone. I'm forgotten. I'm unloved.

I called Marcus.
I wanted to hear his voice so bad.

He didn't pick it up.

I called him again.

He didn't answer.

I started to cry even more.

I didn't know what to do. I need my best friend back.

I wiped my tears, took a deep breath and study a little bit.

I'll wait till the sun goes down.

For him.

For Marcus.

And I need to tell him the truth about my future plans...
