It's midnight.
Marcus is home and I'm on my way to see him.
I knocked on his door.
He opened up.
Marcus: Come.
I went inside his house and he kissed my lips immediately.
He started taking off my clothes but I stopped him.
Me: We need to talk.
Marcus: Cam we talk after this?
He continued kissing me.
We lay on his bed.
Me: Did you miss me?
Marcus: I did, babe.
He took off his clothes too and we made love.
He was so sweet and affectionate.I could see he was in love.
Marcus: I missed your body too.
Me: I'm sorry. Something came up yesterday.
Marcus: Oh. Something came up.
Me: It's about Kylie. We're okay now. She came over yesterday and she stayed the night. I'm sorry for not texting or calling you.
Marcus: Kylie? Really? You guys are friends now?
He seemed happy.
Me: Yeah. We're fine.
Marcus: So good to hear.
Me: Yeap. You were right. Our friendship did deserve a second chance.
Marcus: Did you just forgive her?
Me: Well, yeah. She was into Jackson and that's why things were kind of complicated.
Marcus: I see. Does she still like him?
Me: Maybe.
Marcus: What about him?
I smiled.
Me: I think he's still into me.
Marcus: That's tough.
Me: Yeah. I mean, it would be so cool if they find a way to be together. But Jackson seems uninterested.
Marcus: Maybe he still thinks he stands a chance with you.
Me: Nah.
Marcus: Does he know about me?
Me: Only Kylie knows we're together.
Marcus: Oh.
Me: This is not what I want us to talk about.
He looked at me, smiling.
Marcus: What is about, babe?
Me: It's one family issue I haven't said to you.
Marcus: Oh gosh I thought it was about our relationship.
Me: Let me finish.
Marcus: Alright.
Me: You know, my parents are getting divorced.
Marcus: That's right.
Me: Um. Dad is going to keep the house and mum is moving.
Marcus: In the neighborhood?
Me: Oh. No.
Marcus: Oh. It doesn't matter. The town is big. No matter where she's going to stay, you'll be able to see her, Olivia. You can take the bus or you can ask me to take you to her.
