(Steve POV)

I watch as Bucky gets nervous over his clothes.

"She has seen you in everything under the sun Bucky you will be just fine." I turn my attention to the new book I picked up.

It's been four months since Cass left to Asguard. Every time Thor shows up, he says he's made a promise not to talk about her to us. I broke up with Sharon the day she left vowing not to make the same mistake again. I will wait for her even if I turn old and gray.

"Yea..but this is a date, she'll literally beat me bloody if I ruin this." I laugh knowing that is all too true. Nat did have a temper when things didn't go her way.

"You are the one that asked her out... you should have thought this through." He sighs and sits next to me on the bed.

"Cass is coming back."

"I know Buck. Do you? You are kinda trying to date her friend while she's gone, you really think she'll be okay with that?" He leans forward on his elbows.

"She never loved me Steve, it was always you. She will find a way to be okay with this because, she understands I need to find someone who will love me back."

"And that person is the assassin down the hall?" I look up at him with one eyebrow up.

"Hey she likes my arm." He chuckles and gets up to fix his tie. "Fuck it no tie it is.." His phone alarm rings and he freaks out..."Shit I can't be late,we live in the same building." He runs out slamming the door.

I take a deep breath. Things have changed so much. After the shut down and the security breaches Tony had a compound built.

I take a walk around the compound thinking of Cass. Hoping she is doing okay. She deserves to be doing okay after everything. I wave at Vision, our newest member. He used to be Jarvis, or Jarvis is a part of him..I'm not sure how all that worked out. All I know is that he is heading to pick up Wanda for their date. Tony is out with his fiance, Pepper. Sam went out to a club and Clint is at home with his family. It's only me now.

I go to the bench by the lake I had Tony add, a spot I think Cass would like. You could see the Lake and the city lights shining across it at night. I pull out my phone and look at all the pictures I've collected of her. I don't cry anymore, I've cried too much. But I still feel the pain in my heart for hurting her. For losing her. I sigh heavily and just look at the pictures for the millionth time. I miss her smile the most. Soft and delicate, her dimples. I laugh softly at myself. She hated when I would poke them. She was too adorable for words.

"Cass, if you could hear me. My desire is you. Only you. I miss you." I hope she could hear me. Isn't that what gods do? Listen to us complain and make wishes.

(Cassia POV)

Every Friday he calls for me. I can hear Steve tell me he wants me. He misses me. It makes it damn hard to do my job as a Goddess. Makes it damn hard for me to move on.

I've been crowned a Princess. Odin treats me like a daughter. Thor and Loki have introduced me to all their friends, my favorite is Volstagg, he cracks me up. Loki took it upon himself to walk me through every street. People would walk away from him. After some time, they got used to him smiling when I'm around. He actually interacts with the children in a kind way. He takes my breath away when he does.

"You are hearing him again aren't you?" Loki says from across our small table. Bringing my mind back.

"I'm sorry" I look down embarrassed by the fact.
