Chapter 50: Gangsters Rule (PART I)

Condolences to Brilliantes, nasali pala si Tita Aira on the first nuclear explosion, nahirapan akong paniwalaan iyon, but when we saw the news, I knew there’s nothing more to doubt.
Aira Brilliantes, a former Spy from GIS. All we know is she was a famous model, pero isa pala siyang Gangster noon, she retired, but the GIS called for her help to stop the first nuclear on Ludhiana dahil hindi namin iyon nagawang pahintuin, sa kasawiang palad, she neither stopped the nuclear as well as we did, it exploded on her view, while it nearly killed us.
Paniguradong tinawagan na kami nina Tita Arianna ngayon, but my phone is gone, I’m pretty sure James’ aswell, there’s no contact at hindi pa kami makakabalik sa Pinas ngayon to join the Funeral.
The Fact that James is a devil, he’s also broke. Iisa nalang nga ang magulang na natira sakanya, then she vanished without even James knowing who she really is. Naintindihan ko na kung bakit gusto makipag-talik ni James kagabi at nagtampo agad, all he wanted was to forget his mom’s death *THOUGH HE’S USING ME* pero naawa pa rin ako sakanya. The Public announced tita aira’s death, but with a different reason.

James was already awake at nakaupo ito sa gilid ng kama, I sat down and hugged him from behind.
“Why are you being nice?”
“Hindi naman ah.”
Nakikiramay lang nga, Nice na agad!?
“What do you want, James?” Tanong ko dito. Maybe gusto nya ng umuwi sa pinas.
“I want babies.” He said at bigla akong napabitaw ng yakap sakanya.
WHAT THE HELL!?
“Seryoso ako! Don’t joke around, Idiot!” I hissed at him and he just smirked at me. Kaya nya ba talagang magbiro in the middle of depression!? *Ang tanong, na-depressed ba nga kamo ang demonyong ‘to?*
“I’m not Joking. I want to raise babies.” He said and I could literally see him blush right infront of me.
“Then raise baby monkeys, alagaan mo sila ng maayos dahil total magkamukha naman din kayo.” I said in my arms crossed. Hmph! Umagang umaga pa ah!
“My mom said she wants to raise or either carry little kids of ours, inshort she wants to see her own grand-children. I want babies right now. Can we make babies right now?” He pouted at muntikan akong mawalan ng hangin.
Y-YAN LANG ANG NAALALA NYA!?
“hindi pa ba nawawala ang pagka-lasing mo kagabi?” teka, lasing ba sya kagabi? I don’t think he’s drunk last night, maybe?
“I want to name them Sean and Selene.” He said at itinuro ang dalawa nyang daliri. Napangiwi naman ako. Sean and Selene? Saan nya ba yun nakuha?
“Semele, Evan, Micah, Kurtis and Elijah.” Sabi pa nito and pointed five more fingers from his. What the hell!? Just how much do he want kids!? Isa nga hindi ko na kayang mabigay sakanya!
“We’re not having a Senele, Selena or whatever Elishah and Maicah you want right now. May Arena ngayon.” I said at tumayo mula sa kama.
“It’s Selene, Semele, Elijah and Micah. Don’t forget their names, ipa-pangalan natin ‘yan sakanila.” He chuckled and I rolled my eyeballs.
“Jesus, Walong anak? Even if it’s a lust of your-whatever, napakadami pa rin nyan.” He wants to talk about names? Okay lang naman, I wont take this serious though, mawawala naman din ito bukas, mapagaan lang ang loob nya ngayon.
“I know. And don’t forget Sean, sya ang panganay.” Sabi ni James. Sa puntong iyon ay Naramdaman ko na ang pamumula ng aking pisngi.
“Just Shut up about baby names already!”

It’s 9;30 in the morning at napaka-ingay na ng San Francisco, Police forces, swat teams at kahit private authorities ay nagtipon-tipon na against gangsters, kahit saan nalang kasi ang pagra-riot at kahit mga inosenteng tao ay nasasali na!
Anyway, this crowd will be over at 10, alas dyes kasi ang magsisimulang bumukas ang Arena.
Kakalabas ko pa lang ng Hotel, my gang was waiting outside and the Phantom Gang was nowhere to be sight.
“Where’s Lucifer?” Tanong ko sa tatlo. Before I went to the bathroom, nandoon pa sya sa loob ng room, but when I finished, he’s not there anymore! Naligo ba yung mokong na yun!? Don’t tell me he didn’t! Wag na wag nya lang akong yayakapin!
“Morning Exercise? Sila ata nangunguna sa Riot ngayong umaga eh.” Sagot ni Shane.
“Nangunguna? They’ll get wanted.”
“Haaa. There it is, old as ever.” Abby said at nag-stretch.
“Feel me? Lets Exercise too.” Protesta ni Evelyn.
“No. Mauuna na tayo sa Arena, Best shot goes hot.” Saad ko.
They cheered kaya mas ginanahan ako ngayong umaga.

When we stepped into the Audience Zone, i felt my heart raced rapidly as I gazed through the Fighting Ring. Yesss! I’ve been longing to step in there! I’ll get my victory over the Phantom Gang and let the whole world knows we are above them!
“Excited, My Queen?” Saad ni Shane.
“Yup.”
Nag-register na kami and checked the Agenda.
12 Gangs Will Clash, 6v6, six gangs vs six gangs. Five will remain for the next round?
And there’s another one, 1v1 atsaka 20 lang ang contestants.
The Queens vs Nightingale Stabbers
Antagonist Slayer vs Kelvis Korona
Alpha Gang vs 6 in Uno
Squadron 06 vs Phantom Gang
Yun lang ang alam kong nasa board, the rest are unfamiliar gang names, dun naman sa 1v1, I saw my name on the top list vs a very unfamiliar name. {MINERVA VS BABELIAH}. And I didn’t sign up for 1v1 battle! But… this seemed… interesting? Sino kaya ito si babeliah and why did she chose to fight against me?
“Cool! Someone chose to fight me, and his or her’s name is Yanex!” Nakangiting saad ni Evelyn, tinignan ko naman ang turo ni Evelyn, her codename was on the 14th list.
“ako rin, look at that, Eris vs Discord. Nasa 8th list ako.” Sabi rin ni Eris. I looked at it too, and she’s right.
“Pffh. Don’t that kind of sounds ironic?” saad ni shane.
“Huh? What’s Ironic about Eris’ name?” Patay malisyang tanong ni Evelyn.
“Greek form of Strife, Discord, Conflict, Dissention, Fighting- Eris. Strife versus Strife, nice huh?” Ani Shane.
“Eh? Tama.” Saad ko.
“Please. I’m cool, I’m fine fighting Discord.” Saad ni Abby with a full confident on her words. Sumang-ayon naman kami sakanya at naghanap na ng mauupuan, parami ng parami na rin kasi ang mga tao sa loob ng arena, and we might ended up standing the whole day. Kahit times 2 pa ang laki ng Arena kesa sa football area sa taas, alam kong mas maraming Audience ang Arena ngayon, and they’re all coming from around the globe.

Nagsimula na ang laban, the GIS officers were too short tempered at kanina pa sila sigaw ng sigaw, the VIP’s are the only ones who were allowed to join the battle, kaya ang mga guests naman ay gumawa ng isa pang Fighting ring, and anyone is allowed to fight in there, pinabayaan naman ito ng GIS officers, I know that’s not their concern anymore kung may mamamatay na guests, it’s their choice to fight anyway. Atsaka, the guest ring is not made for survival, you fight until you live, walang sukuan, the one who gets killed is the one who failed. And I have no intentions of joining a low-ranked fight, ang premyo lang naman ay 10 Million Reyals.
Tumayo si Hemera kaya natuon naman ang pansin ko sakanya.
“Hemera, saan ka pupunta?”
“Uh… off to get the 10 million?” sagot nito sabay kamot sa ulo.
“We don’t need 10 million, we just need to win that Gang Clash, and we’ll have 5.5 Billion Dollars.” I whispered. Oh yeah, that’s thousand and thousand times more valuable than 10 million reyals!
“Ooh…” Sabi ni Shane in awe. She sat back at nanuod nalang kami sa laban.
It’s Alpha Gang’s battle vs Six in Uno. Napatumba na ng Alpha Gang ang leader kalaban nila, their fight has no rules kaya malayang nakagamit ng weponyales ang kalaban nila, but the Alpha gang preffered weaponless. Hindi nagtagal at nagwagi din sila.
Same goes to Phantom Gang, hindi na sila naabutan ng limang minuto sa stage and they won.
Pero ang Antagonist Slayer, the rule of the Gang Fight is not to kill the leader. But the antagonist slayer took advantage of the rules, duguan ang labanan nila, the Kelvis members were bloody killed in our sights, at ang pinuno ay buhay na buhay, he’s the only one left on foot stand while his members were killed infront of him. This Antagonist Slayer really is something!
Hindi nga yan sila Nark! I know they cant do something like that! Posibleng sila na yung Fake Antagonist slayers! The one who defeated james back on GIS!
“Looks like the Kelvis Korona is about to surrender!” sigaw ng emcee.
Nakatayo lang ang pinuno nila, but then he attacked the leader of the Antagonist Slayer.
Nadaplisan ang pinuno and the crowd cheered, pero sa isang iglap, he punched the Kelvis leader on the face at binugbog into until it couldn’t stand.
“And the Winner, Antagonist Slayer!”
The crowd screamed with please at tila ako lang ang nakamasid ng maagi sa gang nila.
“Oh Yess! It’s our turn!” Evelyn screamed. We went off the audience area at pumunta sa gilid ng Fighting Ring, the referee who was also part of GIS was there at hinihintay na kami.
“1 rule, you cant kill the leader of your enemy!  Prepare your weapons and the fight will begin in two minutes!” The referee shouted.
“Geez! Can you just lower your voice down??” reklamo ni Evelyn dito. I rolled my eyeballs.
The referee removed it’s headphone at tinanong si Evelyn kung ano ang sinabi nito, he didn’t hear her?
“Nevermind!” Sigaw ni Evelyn.
Pumunta kami sa lamesa and placed our un-needed things, I only brought my dagger with me and that’s all what is needed.
“Queen Minerva, sa palagay mo ba ay nanonood ngayon ang Gangster Stars?” Bulong ni Shane saakin.
“Good question,” Pag-chichismis ni Eris.
“Of course. Bakit naman hindi? They settled this Event on the first place.” Sagot ko.
“Ang ibig kong sabihin ay kung nandito ba sila, who knows maybe someone who wraths on the three of them might blow this stadium up.” Pabulong na sabi ni Shane.
“I sure do hope that won’t happen, Hemera. Kung mangyayari man iyon, we might get blown up too.”
Tinawag na kami ng referee and we jumped on the Fighting Ring.
SIX members of a gang was watching us in their steady position. So sila ang Nightingale Stabbers?
Binasa ko na din ang Details nila kanina sa Bulletin board, Their leader name is Gale, and the rest of the members are Nyx, Erebus, Quarter, Twelve and Night. Their names resembled the night, and they are Italians.
Kapansin-pansin na hindi sila armado, their skin tight outfits proved that they have great reflexes, kahit mga babae sila ay kitang-kita ang leg and arm muscles nila.
“One, Two, BEGIN THE FIGHT!”
Our first stance was to crack our knuckles and neck, nakaka-hinala sila syempre because they did the same thing. Our fight was not Actually fair, apat lang kami and they are six, but it’s completely not a problem. A couple of them attacked me in the same time, I was about to throw a punch to one of them nang ni-lock ng isa ang kanan kong kamay using her arm. I was about to punch her using my other hand, pero ni-lock namn ng isa ang kaliwa kong kamay. I pulled an impact at sinabay ang pagsipa sa mga babaan nila. I got free, but surprisingly, hindi man lang sila na saktan! Gaano ba kalakas ang muscles nila!? Napansin ko naman ding nakapatumba na si Shane ng isang myembro, and she knocked out another one by applying an impact to their nape and neck. I had an idea.
Hinila ko ang isa sa dalawang kaaway ko and did the same as shane did, but when I did- Nagulat ako ng nag-collapse ang binigyan ko ng sapak.
“That was too hard, there, queen.” Saad ni Shane. Too hard? My bad.
Isinunod ko naman ang isa and she was tougher than the other one, I threw several punches on her stomach at kadalasan sa mukha, but the stomach seemed to don’t work at sa mukha lang sya nasusugatan, she tightened her stomach, didn’t she?
Napapagod na ang kanang kamay ko kakasuntok sakanya, so I gave her her turn, umilag agad ako sa kanan when she would punch my face in return. DAMN! Kung hindi ko lang iyon inilagan, I would have a black eye right now! I was so focused about that punch at muntikan na akong matamaan sa baba, she was about to kick me there when I blocked her kick with my hand. Geez! Mababaog ako sa gagawin sana nya! James would be disappointed if I couldn’t give him a baby!
Her foot was still hanging on the air kaya I made my turn to attack, hinila ko ang paa nya and she lost balance, I made my way above her at sinuntok ng malakas ang kanyang tyan. There’s no way she’d calculate to tighten her stomach kapag Nagulat sya.
She puked blood kaya hindi ko na ito lalabanan. My punch couldv’e broken her organs.
Tumayo ako and noticed that they’ve took out the rest of the members, Evelyn was bathing blood at madilim ang ekspresyon ng mukha nya, while Abby and Shane are stain-less. Lalapit sana ako kay Evelyn but something gripped on my foot and I lost my balance.
Buhay pa pala sya! She’s not giving up yet, huh!?
The emcee was still shouting our scene and It was so embarrassing. Tinapakan ko ang kamay nito and jumped my way to stand up. Sinaktan nya ako, so I’ll have rights to hurt her more too.
I stepped both of my foot to both of her hands, that way I managed to peak under her mask- nothing familiar. Pero hindi ko kakalimutan na ‘yan ang mukha mo, Gale.
Shane assisted me because Gale was about to jump on me using her feet. I punched her on the Face and she blacked out.
“AND IT WAS DECIDED, THE WINNER IS- THE QUEENS!!”
Humiyaw ang mga tao at bumaba na kami sa stage.
