Chapter 66: Pooldate for Girls ONLY

Now I can see na may dalawang side si Amethyst.
DAY 2 OF THE MISSION, we found another Party at sila ang Street Con Gang. Ivan attached a tracker on them dahil sa sa huli na namin sila isasama, they’re too troublesome to deal with at hindi na magkakasya sa sasakyan. And about Amethyst, I slowly realized na isa lang pala syang katulad ko, she’s famous in school pero marami din naman ang may galit sakanya, though I Envy her because of her talent at ayaw nya pa ito. She’s not a gangster nor skilled with physical strength, she’s rather delicate and weak, but her intelligence will beat me. I don’t know what smart people thinks, pero alam kong sumama nalang sya saamin ng payapa dahil ayaw nyang masaktan, and she’s using her intelligence to cover up that reason, kasi alam nyang kung kahit ano pa man ang sabihin nya, it’s always possible na mapatay namin sya, and she’s right to think something like that. Her weakness depended on her health too, I noticed na umiinom sya kada meal time ng Vitamins like Vitamin C, E at A, Iron and Calcium vitamins. It doesn’t bother me dahil cute naman sya, she’s surpassing Evelyn and I might want to recruit her.
“Who are we up next?” Tanong ni Nate kay Quince at humarap saamin. Quince took the laptop on his backpack kaya mas sumikip pa ang lugar.
“We’re going to need a bigger ride,” I said. Pero ng sinabi ko iyon, tumayo naman si Amethyst and held the handle sa tabi ni Ivy.
“W-what are you doing, Amethyst?” Tanong ni Ivy dito.
“I’m standing.” Sagot ni Amethyst. Napalukot naman ang noo ko.
“Why?”
“Isn’t it obvious? Wala na kayong space.” Amethyst said.
“You can sit on my lap.” I said at pinagpag ang aking palda.
“W-what!? No!” Her face turned red at napaharap sa ibang direksyon.
SHEESH ANG CUTE NYA!
“C’mon!” I held her waist and made her sit on my lap.
“N-no-”
“Wagkang mahiya. I don’t mind.” Sabi ko rito.

Hindi naging mahirap ang misyon, we got rid of 2 gangs who used to rob the banks na malapit sa may senior zone and a gang used to rape women and killing them after. Actually, the mission would’ve been a piece of cupcake kapag marunong lang mag-cooperate si Ivan, if nate only knows how to speak to us properly like a BLAC-ASS-LEADER, or if Ivy isn’t too shy to say her ideas! Sa masasabi ko, kami lang ata ni Quince ang dapat mabigyan ng 100% credit!
But now it’s gone and done. And my new roommate is Amethyst, magandang coincidence diba?
“Q-queen minerva…” Ame said at lumapit sa tabi ng kama ko.
“Yes?”
“M-mamamatay ba ako i-if I cant fight?” She said while gripping the edge of her shirt. Ibinaba ko ang libro na binabasa ko at umupo para harapin ito.
“Nope. As long as you’re in my sights, walang pwedeng manakit sayo.” I said.
“WOW.”
“QUEEN.”
“I’M HONESTLY SURPRISED, LIKE LITERALLY.”
I heard the three on a corner and I rolled my eyes, while Ame was surprised.
“Hemera, Eris and Luna. May sinabi ba ako na pwede kayong pumasok sa kwarto ko?” I said to them,
“It’s her room too,” sagot ni Luna at tinuro si Amethyst.
“so?”
“Queen, you cant just trust her like that. Leave her alone ng maging malakas sya para ipagtanggol ang sarili nya.” sabi ni Abby.
“Sang-ayon ako kay Eris,” sabi ni Shane.
“Ano ba kayo? She’s defenceless. You lack trust, atsaka, kilala ko naman si Amethyst.” I said to them.
“Oh, now I see why we shouldn’t leave your side. Queen, think!” Sabi ni Evelyn at sasampalin na sana ako.
“Ops, you cant just slap me, Luna.” Sabi ko sakanya.
“I will, and I should because it might wake you up!” anito and I rolled my eyes.
“Look, Amethyst don’t know anybody in this Place. And I don’t let my guard down.”
“Her name is Amethyst?”
“Oo,”
I took a glance at Amethyst at nakayuko lang ito. Huminga ako ng malalim at hinarap ang tatlo.
“Her father is Sally Sandiego, the new Vice Mayor of Arena City, Alright? She’s learning on the Nurturing Pupils Academy and she is extremely smart. Atsaka, ayokong pakealaman nyo sya and test her and do whatever you want on her, okay? She’s delicate kaya wag nyo sya saktan.” Sabi ko sa tatlo. They’re going to kidnap her and tie her and threaten her para mapagsabi lang ng totoo, Ame doesn’t deserve that. Alam ko ang tatlo na ito and they’ll search every dept of her identity para lang mapalayo ako sa pahamak, I don’t want that.
Nagulat naman ako when Amethyst hugged my waist, pati narin ang tatlo ay Nagulat sa ginawa nya.
“What!?”
“Oh no, what the hell did Amethyst do to you, Queen?!” Drama ni Evelyn and I made a face.
“I’m fine, Evelyn.” I said and patted Ame’s head.
“I don’t think so,” Lumapit si Shane kay Amethyst and grabbed her by the collar.
“Shane! Put her down.”
“What the hell did you do to our Queen?! Hindi naman sya ganyan umakto kapag may nakilala.” Madiing sabi ni Shane kay Amethyst.
“Put her down, inuutusan kita!”
Shane stared at her for a while at Ibinaba na ito. Lumapit si shane saakin at tinitigan ako sa mata.
“Queen.. patawad.” She knelt down at hinawakan ako sa tuhod. Sila na ang hindi ko naiintindihan, I just forged my promise to defend Amethyst, pero ganyan na sila umakto? They’re so insecure!
“Wag kang humingi ng tawad saakin, Hemera. I’m fine and you don’t have to be so insecured, Amethyst is defenceless. DEFENCELESS.” Pag-uulit ko.
Ame was sobbing on the floor, napaluhod naman din sina Evelyn at Abby sa likod ni Shane.
“We’re sorry.”
“Makikinig nalang muna kami sa sasabihin mo before we would freak out.” Ani Abby. SERIOUSLY?!
Tinawan ko lang sila at pinatayo.
“Oh gosh, pinasama ko nalang sana ang isa sainyo.” Sabi ko sa tatlo. Evelyn pouted.
Lumapit naman ako kay Amethyst at tinulungan itong tumayo.
“Sorry.” Sabi ni Shane kay Amethyst, Ame wiped her tears at ngumiti.
“I’m fine.” Sabi nito.
Silence filled our room kaya binatukan ko naman ang tatlo.
“Ano ba kasi ang pakay no dito!?” I scowled at them at napakamot naman sila sa ulo.
“We’ve heard your mission was over kaya bumisita agad ka-”
“Actually  we know you’ll be back today since the very beginning.”
“I know you wont be out, ako lang dapat ang nandito but since these two followed me. I don’t want my council to inform the event to you or to any of the girls, kaya ako nalang. The females voted for a secret event ‘Girl’s Fundate’ bukas. All the girls who knows about the event will come to a specific place.” Sabi ni Shane.
“And no boys?” tanong ko at tumango naman ito. GREAT!
“That’s great.”

Τοday is the day! Even the male officers don’t know about this Event, the female councils made the pool area into a quarantine-mode at nilagyan ng mga signage na ‘beware’ ‘no trespassing’ ‘hazardous area’ at kung ano ano pa. Well it’s of course, 100% fake, the pool area is ours at lahat ng mga babae ay magtitipon-tipon doon para magsaya the WHOLE DAY. We can safely wear bikinis and stuff dahil walang NI-ISANG LALAKE ang pwede doon, or if ever there’s a single guy who’s going to trespass our warnings, kailangan namin muna syang patulugin sa basurahan. The female councils already prepared the dumpcarts and the rest contributed for Trashbags kung saan namin isasako ang mga lalakeng makakakita sa lugar namin. Akalain nyo nga no, the entire GIS is so big that you bearly remember anything about vacations, and the pool is hidden! Mga female-older generations daw ng colleges ang nagtago sa pool na ito dahil before they hid this pool, everyone was open to swim here everyday at bawat oras, but the males abused the beautiful pool area, dinudumihan daw nila ang pool and they don’t care about it’s environment, they trashed it, pee on it at pinapabayaan lang nila ang kanilang mga basura, many females were raped here too, that’s why the older females decided to hide this place at di na naalala pa ng mga kalalakihan. Anyway, tragic history is over and now it’s time to have fun!
I picked the best bikini na ibinili ni Evelyn para saakin, and it was the black one that I kept mula sa VSR beach. Who cares if I wear this ‘OVER-SHOWY-SWIMSUIT’? wala naman ding lalake na ikaka-trauma ko, neither James, normally I wouldn’t wear this kind of thing kahit mga babae lang ang kasama ko, but since many females here are famous dahil sa magandang pangangatawan nila, I might aswell let them adore me and my beautiful body.
The Pool covered an area of 30-meters wide, may mababaw not reaching 3 feet at meron ding malalim, not reaching 9 feet. I sat on a bench kung saan malapit ihinanda nina Abby ang aming snacks and drinks. Eris was already on her swimwear too at busy sa pag-i-inflate ng swim ring. Evelyn was with Ame at tinutulungan ito sa paghahanap ng magkakasyang swimsuit. Amethyst was too picky to wear two-piece kaya susuotin nya nalang daw yung swimming uniform nya from her previous school, but it was too odd at medyo masikip na daw, evelyn kept on recommending the red bikini and same goes to the latter, ayaw nito. But I’m still glad na nag-iintindihan na sila. Shane was at the highest part of pool at may hawak-hawak itong wireless microphone.
“Magandang umaga sainyong lahat, I, Hemera, your newest council president would like to thank all of you for voting for this wonderful event. I suppose you all know the reason why we’re having this secret from the boys, but care nothing about them today, let’s all have fun!”
Sabi ni Shane thru the mic. I really wanted to roll my eyes dahil sa speech nya, hindi naman parang sya ang nagsabi eh, maybe evelyn wrote the script or whatever.
I flipped my hair at pumunta sa gawi ng isang babae na naka-jacket sa isang gilid ng pool.
“Hi, Nat. mind if I sit with you?” She rose her head on me at tumango with a smile, tumabi naman ako sakanya. Kapansin pansin na may tinatago siya, she was gripping her Jacket firmly and her hair was tucked in there too.
“Why wearing Jacket? Ang init init lang ata para jan ah.” I said,
“Uh-uhmm..”
It’s either she’s already wearing her swimwear under that pero nahihiya lang syang ipakita ito, or she doesn’t have any because maybe she doesn’t want one? Impossible din naman, besides, her fair-skin legs are in the water.
“Tanggalin mo nalang yung Jacket.” I said to her.
“P-pero… Nakakahiya kasi…” She said and slouched.
“Shy? Oh, nope, you better love yourself, dear.” Sabi ko at itinabi ang eyeglasses nya. I made her removed the Jacket and as I was expecting- she’s already wearing a swimsuit and her body standed out! I heard some of the girls cheering for her and I clapped my hands. Nat’s face was turning red dahil mahiyain ito. That’s what she’s been hiding after all?! Back on Alcantara, she used to wear thick clothes like jackets on summer class, maluluwag at malalaking damit, long skirts and I never saw her wearing leggings! But now- her body is like a model’s!
“E-ehmm.. N-nakatingin ang lahat saakin.” Nangingig na na sabi ni Nat and she forcedly shut her eyes.
I placed my hand on her right shoulder kaya napatingin siya saakin and I gave her a smile.
“It doesn’t matter anymore, Nat. Naiintindihan ko ang paghihirap na dinaanan mo sa dalawang side, other girls’ hate on you, and other boys’ judgement on you. You just have to take a big courageous step and open your eyes. Pwede ka rin namang magbago, start disposing your fake glasses at mag-ayos ka, those are the only things that keep you from a wonderful fame.” Sabi ko rito.
Teka nga lang… were am I learning this kind of speeches again? Hindi ko na tuloy nafe-feel si Mikhaela the freak.
“S-sure. S-salamat.” She gave a smile. Ramdam na ramdam ko naman ang titig ng mga babae saamin, and of course, in this case, hindi naman magpapatalo ang ganda ko. This scratchless-unstained legs at ni-isang buhok ay tumubo man sa paa ko, my shoulders na halos maging salamin nalang sa sinag ng araw, my slim tummy dahil bumalik na ako sa pagwo-work out, and of course, I wouldn’t deny my big chest too. Sino ba naman ang mag-cocompete saakin? Si Shinely? Ohh no, she’s too arrogant to be my rival at hanggang footstep ko lang sya. Kryle or Babeliah? Nope. I’m the top one.
Nagbulong bulongan naman din sila dahil saakin, I wasn’t wearing my mask though, not everyone know me kaya they’re talking about who I was and some stuff and blah blah.
