Chapter 9: Olympus Museum

The prediction huh? Ang sabi ni Riass, there would be a war. Tsk, she’s so serious that she sounded like there’s gonna be a Fourth-World War. And anyway, who would believe her? Not even me.
“James” tawag ko sa mokong na boyfriend ko.
“Hmm?”
“Have you heard about the Mafia war?” tanong ko.
“Which one?”
“THE MAFIA WAR. Idiot, kakasabi ko lang.” Ng inangat ko ang aking tingin, saka ko lang napansin na nagbibihis pala sya, What the heck?! Ba’t sa harapan ko pa!?
I looked at my foot at hndi na iginalaw pa ang aking mata. Tsk, bastos talaga sya!
“There are many Mafia Wars, the first one is the Russian Mafia who tried to take over Philippine Local Government, the war happened on 1970. There’s also another Mafia War that Happened on the late 1983, a Mafia who dealt with different kinds of weapons have violated the Regulations of the Philippine’s Local Government, I’m sure you’ve heard about those.” Litanya ni James. Umiling naman ako. Wow, I never thought that I would be interested in History, but hearing these facts make me interested in the so-called-boring history of students.
“what actually happened on 1970?” tanong ko.
“Dunnow. I haven’t been there.” James replied and it made me wanna kill him using a shot gun.
“can you summarize it atleast?”
“Well, like the Spain, Japan and any other terrorist who tried to take over our country, the Russia tried taming our Country too. They had a huge organization and Ambushed the Philippine South, Well according to the facts I’ve read, the The people of the south were’nt really friendly and they were very courageous to protect their own land, therefore the Russians attacked.”
“at nasali sa war ang Olympus Museum?” I asked again.
“Yep, that museum had such a misfortunate.” James commented.
“Teka, did the Russians won? I could barely see Russians in our Country” sabi ko.
“They lost, many Filipinoes stood against them at sahuli ay sila ang Nagwagi.” Sabi ni James.
“Well. I wonder if a Philippine Mafia attacked it’s own country.” Pagbibiro ko.
“Tsk. Don’t Pray for it. We barely survived the battle between the Mondragon Mafia, and who knows, we may get lost to our next mission.” Bulalas ni James.
“whatever, I’m going to school at uunahan na talaga kita.” I gave him a quick stare at lumabas na sa kwarto ni James. I grabbed my bag on my room at nagtungo na agad sa Garage.
Pumasok ako sa aking sasakyan, but first I looked around at hinanap ang sasakyan ni James, a few seconds later at hndi ko ito mahanap, kaya napagdesisyonan kong ipatakbo na ang sasakyan.
Habang nasa gitna ako ng pagda-drive, I noticed a familiar black car,  Aha!
Nauna nga talaga sya! Why the hell is he doing this?! Hndi naman kami nagka-karera papuntang paaralan! Pagdating sa Alcantara High ay agad akong nag-park sa Parking Area, at gaya ng inaasahan James’s car was there, nakapark pa ito ng maayos and it seemed like bago lang talaga ito nag-park, probably 0.2 seconds ago. Bumaba agad ako ng aking sasakyan at hinintay na lumabas si James sa sasakyan nito. “Hmm, I’m impressed, Missy caught up with my fast drive.” Sabi ni James and I felt my left eyebrow moved. “Missy huh? Another nickname for me? What a devil you are.” Komento ko. Just what the hell made him made that name for me?!
“Gomen, Odjo-san. Lets get to the Gym, the class is in there, peparing for the trip.” James said ang patted my head, ArgGhH! “James, stop speaking the Japanese language, hndi ka nga Otaku o kahit Weeb eh!” Tsk, another new thing on him? He’s weird. Tumawa lang ito kaya pinabayaan ko pa, if he wont stop laughing, he might turn crazy, but who cares? He already is anyway.

The Trip took 5 hours dahil sumakay kami ng Private Plane ng Alcantara, therefore it’s already lunch when we arrived at our destination, nagtungo muna kami sa isang restaurant malapit sa Museum.
“Who knows whatever is waiting for us inside the Museum…” komento ni Evelyn as if she’s trying to scare us. “Evelyn, you should dig up your food, hndi pa ito nakukulangan.” Panermon ni Shane.
“Yeah, are you really waiting for me to feed you?” sabi ni Cj. Pumula naman ang mukha ni Evelyn at agad na syang kumain. I think the last time we got out and ate together as eight in a restaurant is last month, Yung sa Knife Resto ata? Yeah, and seemed like Ivan is too uncomfortable dahil masama ang nangyare last time we ate together in a restaurant.
“Our Subject is Science: Astrology, and I never knew Astrology can be Mythology.” Sabi ni Josh.
“Nice pun Josh, but this trip isn’t connected to Astrology, kaya kumain ka nalang at manahimik na.” sabi ni Abby. “Tsk, you too you shut up aswell, Little Mermaid” Sabi ni Josh pabalik kay Abby. Nainis naman si Abby and was about to take out a Dagger, pero sinenyasan ko ito na wag. Are they really gonna wrestle to death In a school trip huh?
Our lunch ended up quick at bumalik na kami agad sa Museum.
Our section was divided into Eight, unfortunately, si Jeremy at James ang ka-grupo ko, Author, I-rate mo nga yung pagka unfortunate ko!

“This is going to be fun, Bestfriend. Baka nga totoo ang Greek Mythology!” pangiti-ngiting sabi ni Romeo. I rolled my eyes, see?
“Jeremy, kaya nga tinawag itong Mythology dahil hndi ito totoo.” I said.
Huminto kami sa paglalakad infront of Zeus’s statue.
“Zeus, The God of the Sky and Thunder.” Komento ni James.
“It’s weird, Diba kapatid ni Zues si Hera?” komento ni Jeremy.
“Oo, what’s weird with that?”
“Because Zeus is married to Hera! Nagkaroon pa nga sila ng limang anak! Hephaestus at Ares? Duh!” sabi ni Jeremy.
“it’s Myth, Jeremy.” Sabi ko.
“and did you know that Cronus ate all of his children except Zeus?” tanong ni James.
“What?!” gulat naming sabi ni Jeremy.
“It’s a Myth, you two.” Sabi nito. TSsk!
“Tama po kayo, Cronus ate all of his Children except Zeus because he is afraid that they might overthrew him just like what he did to his own father.” I looked to my far left side and a girl was there, nakasuot ito ng white dress, she had a short white-blue hair na hanggang shoulders, basing on her look, magka-edad lang ata kami neto.tanong ni James.
“What?!” gulat naming sabi ni Jeremy.
“It’s a Myth, you two.” Sabi nito. TSsk!
“Tama po kayo, Cronus ate all of his Children except Zeus because he is afraid that they might overthrew him just like what he did to his own father.” I looked to my far left side and a girl was there, nakasuot ito ng white dress, she had a short white-blue hair na hanggang shoulders, basing on her look, magka-edad lang ata kami neto.
“How cruel, what kind of father would do that to his own children?” komento ni Romeo.
“Indeed, Rhea, the wife of Cronus saved Zeus by feeding Cronus a cloth-wrapped stone that looked like an infant.” Sabi ng Babae.
“That’s horrible.”
“Who are you exactly?” tanong ni James sa babae.
“Ah, sorry to interrupt your team, ako nga pala si Karina A. Laurente 18 years old, The Daughter of the Owner of this Museum.” Pagpapakilala nito at nakipag-kamay saamin.
“Karina? Nice name for a nice girl, my name is Romeo Jeremy Sanchez, one year lng ang pagitan ng edad natin.” Sabi ni Jeremy and I rolled my eyes. Hmm. Zing at first sight huh?
“Uhm, thanks.”
“Bonjour, Miss. I’m James Kurt Brilliantes, and this is my wife, Mikhaela Brilliantes.” Sabi ni James. WHAT THE F*CK?!
“No, I’m not his wife. I’m just his Girlfriend, atsaka my last name is Garcia.” Sabi ko. Inirapan ko naman si James. Ang kapal ng mukha ng mokong ah!
“James, sobraan naman ata ang pagka-agresibo mo jan sa girlfriend mo.” Komento ni Jeremy.
“Ah, heheh. Garcia, that name is so nostalgic, yet I forgot where I heard it, anyway, nice meeting you guys.” Sabi ni Karina.
“Don’t you have classes? Why are you here? I mean, I meant no disrespect please.” Tanong ni Jeremy.
“Our Christmas vacation is extended until new year, wala kasi akong magawa kaya napag-isipan kong gumala dito.” Sagot ni Karina. Extended? Wow, ang taas pa ng bakasyon nila.
“You must be really lucky, on our school, wala kaming bakasyon, it was just a one-day holiday” pagrereklamo ni Jeremy.
“Uhm, Not actualy.” Sabi ni Karina.
“Why not? Ang haba kaya ng bakasyon nyo.”
“It’s about our family, ng nalaman kong may pamilya pa pala kaming nabubuhay, I was happy, pero ng nalaman kong nawawala sila, I started to feel sad again. Hayss, asan na kaya yun sila?”
“Atleast you still have your parents, Right?” sabi ko and she nodded at napangiti.
“Miss Karina, a girl named Azuna Kim is outside your residence claiming herself as your friend, ayaw nitong umuwi hanggang Makita ka, what should we do?” A guy with an eyeglass came near us, a butler to be exact. “Opo, Azuna is my friend. Sorry guys, pero kelangan ko na munang umalis, it’s nice meeting you.” Sabi ni Karina at sumama na sa Butler nito.
“I hope she’s single.” Komento ni Jeremy.
“Bakit? Mukha ba syang si Juliet?” pambabara ni James.
“No. she’s kawaii.” Sabi pa ni Jeremy and I rolled my eyes, Zing at first nga!
“Tapos na ba ang Day Dream mo? O sige punta na tayo sa Next statue.” Pag-papaalala ko. Baka makatulog pa sa Museum at maiwan pa eh.
We went to the Next statue, it was a Maiden with brown hair and Green eyes, she had a Golden Crown on her head at nakasuot ito ng itim na wedding dress at white na veil. She was also Carrying a Staff at may Purple Christal Ball ito sa dulo.
Binasa naman namin ang clarification nito.
“Obviously it’s Herra, Queen of the Gods, the Goddess of Marriage” sabi ni Jeremy.
“Jeremy, walang nagtatanong sa’yo.” Sabi ko.
“Name the siblings of Zeus.” Sabi ni James.
“Simple. Hades, Poseidon, Hestia, Hera and Demeter” sagot ni Jeremy while pointing his fingers.
“Eh si Athena? Kapatid naman din sya ni Zeus diba?” sabi ko.
“Ay oo nga pala, si Athena.” Added Jeremy. I rolled my eyeballs.
“Name his wives on his siblings.” Sabi pa ni james.
“Uh, Diba si Hera lang naman at Demeter?” I said. Tumango naman si James.
“Name their Children.”
“Yung kay Hera is Hebe, Hephaestus, Ares, Enyo, and Eileithyia. Yung kay Demeter naman ay si Persephone lang.” sabi ni Jeremy.
“Eh diba Dalawa lang ang anak ni Hera?” I asked.
“Nope. Mali ka Bestfriend.” Sabi ni Jeremy.
“Only two were described as Hera’s Children which were Hephaestus and Ares, but infact, she had 5 of them.” James said.
Oh.
“edi ikaw na magaling.” I said and flipped my hair. James smirked at nagpatuloy na kami sa Paglilibot sa museum. Marami din akong bagong nalaman tungkol sa Greek Mythology, like how all of them are connected to one another, Especially marami pa lang asawa si Zeus, She had Mnemosyne, Dione, Semele, lo, Alcmene, Maia, and Pleione, including Demeter and Hera. It is really weird, if I would make a Greek Myth Story, si Hera talaga ang magiging kalaban dahil napaka-daming lovers ng husband nya, it’s Just really really weird though.
Our Team reached the end of the Museum, although it took as a very long time to do the tour, nagpahinga kami doon and sat on a Bench.
I noticed many Galleries infront of our seat at sa palagay ko ay hndi ito Related sa mga Myths. Tumayo ako tinignan ang mga larawan.
The First image was an old man, base saaking paningin, it was Half Filipino and Half Espanyol. May nakasulat dito na “Laurente Dela Cruz, a Hero whom made an Unforgetable Rescue, we salute you.”  Ito ata ang unang may-ari ng Museum, There were many other Picture Frame at iba iba ang mukha nila, but I can recognize least of their faces ay magka-hawid. Gaya ni Alfredo Ambassador, the III person who owned the Museum, at si Laurente Jr. Santa Cruz IV. All of these people must be related to one another, like the Olympians.
“Something’s fishy In here.” Komento ni James habang mina-masdan ang mga larawan.
“What do you mean?”
“Laurente Jr and Laurente Dela Cruz are- meh, never mind.” Sabi ni James
