Chapter 56: What's BEYOND FALLING INLOVE?

-Mikhaela Garcia’s POV-

“We found her. Why do you have to make up lies to make money?” Madiing tanong ni ivan kay Eemah.
“Lies?! Oh for Christs’ sake. I would’ve call it an oportunity.” Ani eemah. She walked back on the stairs at umupo doon.
“Oportunity? For what?” Tanong ni Shane.
“It would be very impolite if we’d start arguing around while we still don’t know about each other.” Sabi nito at naka-dekwatro ang paa.
“it’s okay, you don’t have to introduce yourself since we already know who you are, Eemah bent Khaled.” Ani Evelyn. ‘yan yung full name nya? The latter rolled her eyes in dismay.
“What I’m talking about, is you guys. You cant just walk right into my house and scold me for what I’m doing, it’s pretty rude especially when I don’t think you guys are ever from a high status. Seriously, who the heck would even dare step their feet on my house?” Eemah.
I don’t like the way she speak, ang ganda pa naman nya.
“Ooh, is this your house? My bad. We wouldn’t need introduction, my dear. We would be gone sooner enough- my correction, you would be gone sooner enough.” Ani Abby at itinaas ang kaniyang kanang paa to show that she was stepping on the floor. Seriously?
Lumapit naman si Shane sa babae at minasdan ito ng malalim.
“And for the status which you’re saying, you’re lower than the lowest, Princess. You’re ever not welcome to call yourself near to the Queen.” Sabi ni Shane. Tumulo ang pawis sa noo ni Eemah, na-realize ko din agad na mas matanda pa pala sya saamin. It’s rude, but she’s way rude to welcome us, nor her attitude.
“Queens! Are you done boasting!?” Bagot na sigaw ni Cj. Binatukan naman sya ni Evelyn.
“Q-queens?”
“That’s right, better face your fiercest nightmare, Princess!” Sigaw ni Abby sakanya.
I sigh in frustration at inilabas ang aking baril.
Umakyat ako sa hagdan, just a few step above Eemah at duon umupo.
She raised her head on me kaya itinutok ko ang baril sakanya.
“Tell me, what do you meant by this you call ‘oportunity’” I placed my other palm under my chin. This is boring me! Gusto ko na atang patayin ang babaeng ito eh, I would conquer the whole palace and rule the whole kingdom kung gugustuhin ko!
“I-is that thing real?” Tanong ni Eemah sa baril na hawak ko.
“Oh, I see you want to try it.” Sabi ko at kinasa ang baril na aking hawak.
“No no! I don’t!” sigaw nito kaya nginisihan ko lang sya.
“Now, speak, B*tch!” Sigaw ni Evelyn kay Eemah. Evelyn is going to love this place, her voice always will echoe kapag sumigaw sya.
“O-oportunity, th-this Oportunity to rise Saheera once and for all. I’ve been shouldering the burdens of my people for quite a long time now, I’ve been suffering for nearly a decade. I just don’t know why my people lack somuch health and food and supplies! I’ve been giving them supplies for free for almost five years that I don’t even have money left for myself! My People- they want wealth. If they want wealth, then I’ll make my whole kingdom wealthy enough, but first they have to suffer. Suffer the consequences before they receive something which is about to be given to them!” Ani Eemah.
Ano!? Ng dahil lang doon ay tumigil na sya sa pangangalaga ng mga tauhan nya?! Who even voted for this b*tch!?
“Then why Include GIS? Can’t you just do some trading?!” I hissed at her at napangisi naman ito.
“Oh GIS. Must be very lucky to be one of them. You can rob, you can kill, you can have freedom- and no one will dare stopping you from conquering whatever you want. *Sigh* Sadly, GIS is also a threat in this world. A lot of good business owners would love to take over that Gangster Government, it’s a very nice idea to sell their informations, I can make some good money from them!” Aniya.
“Hmm, to be fair in this, Eemah. Why don’t I try selling your information to men? I’m pretty sure they’d love to f*ck a woman who had such a beauty like yours.” Tawa ni Evelyn.
Uhh..
“ArghhH! You’re taking advantage on me! I just wanted what I want! Why are you stopping me!? Who the hell are you people!?” Sigaw ni Eemah. My ears says I’m irritated.
“We’re from GIS. Pleased to meet you, my lady.” Ani Ivan at ngalahad ng palad.
Nagulat naman si Eemah sa nalaman nito. Didn’t expect some gangsters would pay her a visit?
Dad and uncle cris would love this woman. Siguro… dalawang regalo nalang kaya ang iibigay ko sakanila?
“didn’t expect that, Onee-san?” Ani Evelyn. Lumapit din sya kay Eemah at inakbayan sya.
“Ang lapit mo lang ata sa babaeng ‘yan, Evelyn.” Iritadong saad ni Abby kay Ev.
“Seriously, One-San, we can kill you right now. Take out your heart, your respiratory, your brain- oh, I don’t even think you have both heart and brain, to make things clear, we can f*ck the sh*t outta you right now. Stop being a greedy b*tch and feed your people!” Evelyn slapped eemah on the face kaya gulat na gulat ito. Urghh, wala bang mga guards ang palasyo!? The councilor? The commander?  The chief? Assistant?! Hayyst!
“Fine alright!! I can feed them annualy. For a couple more years, my treasures will fade.” Ani Eemah.
“Fade?” Anong ipapakain niya sa mga tauhan nya? Ginto? For pete’s sake!
“Oh don’t feed them with golden coins, my love.” Ani pa ni Ivan kay Eemah.
“I’m supposed to give them money! What do you think I supposed to give them?!”
“You said you’re giving them supplies.” Ani Cj.
“Well that was a long time ago when my father is still connected with the Pakistani and Turkey! Now we’re not. I just have to order them to go abroad and buy supplies there.” Ani Eemah.
Ivan pulled her wrist at may ibunulong, the girl’s expression went terrified kaya na-curious ako kung ano yung sinabi ni Ivan. Napansin ko rin na kanina pa nakayukom ang kamao ni Shane.
“F-fine. I-I’ll do whatever I can.” Sabi ng babae at tumayo. Huh.
Eemah went upstairs at hindi na namin sya nakita, I walked down at hinarap si Ivan.
“What the hell did you just say to her?” tanong ko kay Ivan.
“Nothing.”
“Liar!”
“Tchh. I planted my bombs around her castle. Happy?” sagot nito and I almost wanted to roll my eyes. Bombs? How can bombs destroy a golden palace?
“Ace. Bombs wont destroy this f*cking place.” Ani James. See what I mean!?
“Normal bombs wont, but my bombs will. I built them myself. They’re more tougher than nuclears.”

We left Egypt at iniwan doon si Lenea. Sayang tuloy, I could have brought Eemah along para gawin din syang regalo. Siguro I should be impressed with Ivan? He most likely took over the palace security, kinulong ang mga chiefs, even the apprentices that’s why they didn’t show up. Ginawa iyon lahat ni Ivan ng mag-isa, he even managed to plant 20 bombs, sampong hidden cctv camera and solar drones all by himself at hindi namin sya napansin.
“Thanks to Ivan, he saved the day!” Evelyn cheered at itinaas ang baso ng Orange Juice nya.
“He’s just lucky, the princess is stupid.” Ani Shane.
“Lucky? Huh no, Hemera. It’s just Ivan’s skills.” Ani Cj.
We’re also lucky na hindi pa na-ikalat ni Eemah ang impormasyon, because if she did, siguro hahabulin pa namin iyon lahat.
Pumunta ako sa likurang upuan kung saan medyo tahimik ang lugar. Nasa likod ng seat ko sina Shane at Ivan at dahil hindi ako tsismosa, hindi ko nalang sila pinansin kung ano man ang ginagawa nila, although they’re not noisy.

-SHANE’S POV-

“Let’s go somewhere else.” Pag-translate ko sa sound encrypted message ni Ivan. It goes Dot Dot Bleep Tit Dot. Binawi ko ang phone mula sakanya and decoded a message too.
“Bakit?” Bleep. Mika must be wondering why we’re making these strange sounds from behind her.
“It’s a secret.” Teet Bleep Blop. Tinignan ko ang mga mata nya and tried to spy every corner of his iris, pero laging madilim, misteryoso at katahimikan lang ang nakikita ko sa mga mata nya.
Tumayo ako and stretched my arms, hinila ko naman si Ivan papunta sa base kung saan nandun sina Evelyn at Cj. Binuksan ko ang pinto ng Base and we saw Cj and Evelyn brawling at each other, yung parang Lion and Lioness? Na-pa whistle si Ivan and I just looked away.
“Sh-shane! W-what are you doing here?” Nagulat si Evelyn sa presensya namin.
“You can join the rest. Kami na muna ang magbabantay dito.” Ani Ivan. Huh, magbabantay daw?
“Uh- Y-yeah. Th-thanks man.” Cj blushed at Kinamot ang likod ng ulo nito. He looked like an idiot kapag ganyan ang itsura nya.
“W-well, see ya!” Pangiti-ngiting saad ni Evelyn at hinila si Cj paalis ng base.
The base went quiet kaya umupo na ako sa isang seat, the Package- Frank is still snoring kaya nilagyan ko ng sako ang ulo nya para tumahimik din ito ng kaunti.
“Ano’ng gusto mong sabihin, Ivan?” If he’s not going to start the conversation, I will.
“There’s a mystery between us. Kung gusto mo man malaman kung ano ito, I am not going to ask you to solve it with me.” He said.
Mystery? He meant the reason why we’re having this connection. I understand what he meant by that. Pati ako rin ay gustong lumutas sa misteryosong ito. This is a special case na dapat malutas before things would collide. Those terrible moments when my face have to turn bright red when we talk about nonsense things, I needed deduction for those too. Kung bakit lagi akong nilalapitan ni Ivan, or why I’d always come and look for him if he’s not with me- It’s something beyond acquaintance. Hindi ko rin masasabi that I’ve been inlove, Love takes process, it takes time, but Ivan and I only met for a year. I know how it feels like to be inlove with someone, so there’s no way I could say this is Love- pero hindi ko matukoy rin kung ano ang tawag dito, and that is why I’ll solve this case. I’m interested.
“You don’t have to ask me to join you solve it, because I’m interested.” Minasdan ko ang mga mata nya, it’s always like that. If he meets what he expects from me, his eyes will be filled with curiousity and Pleasure.
“It’s beyond falling inlove. I know you know it takes time. But love takes no time.” Ivan grinned at napangiwi naman ako. BEYOND FALLING INLOVE? ‘Love takes no time’? did he bang his head on something hard? Akala ko magiging interesado pa ang usapan.
“and what do you expect something from BEYOND FALLING INLOVE? I would like to hear your deduction.” If he cant prove that this is love, how much more from beyond it?
“I don’t know. It’s always unknown. But my deduction will never make sense to you, or to me, if we don’t start from the very beginning.” Saad ni Ivan.
“At ano naman ang nasa simula?”
“Guess what it is.” Sabi pa nya.
Guess? I’m guessing he’ll have to dig deeper to know every secrets I hide, every burdens I shoulder, every pain I carry, and every problems I’m holding. And then he’ll fix everything and tell me I owe my life to him. Then when he gets to know me, he’ll say he’s inlove with me and prove it by the knowledge he got. That’s how things work.
“You don’t have to dig the soil, Ivan. You’ll spend the rest of your life in the beginning for just trying to prove whats beyond falling inlove.” Sabi ko.
He looked at me at nalukot ang noo nya, then he laughed.
“Ano’ng nakakatawa?”
“You have slight a humor after all. Haaah… I’m not going to dig anything, I don’t have to go deeper either. I just have to court you, and ask for your permission, Fair?” Ivan Chuckled.
Oh. So that means he chose a different path. Kung liligawan nya ako, he can take the first step at i-angat ako kasama sya, then ask me to be his girlfriend, then propose to me and be his wife. That’s beyond falling inlove afterall! But- pwede ring umiba ang takbo ng oras. He can break up with me, dump me and hurt me. If I think stupid, ako lang din naman ang mapapalaw saaming dalawa, the happiness I will spend with him will only last for a while- that’s not worth it.
“You can court me. But you have to promise you’ll never mess things up.” That’s fair enough, if he wants me.
“Mess things up? Ano naman na kalat ang posibleng kong gawin?”
“Promise.”
“Promised.” Sabi niya.
“You promised to wont break me, you wont hurt me, you wont leave me pagkatapos mong kunin ang gusto mo mula saakin. Kahit magsawa ka pa saakin, you won’t leave me either nor lose care. You know Karma, I promise it will come to you.”
“I don’t believe in Cliché. But I’m solving this mystery, and I also promise you- you will gain something beautiful from it after we solve it.” Walang emosyon nya na saad.
Tsk. This mystery is boggling us after all.
