Link and Ganondorf were headed to Rist Peninsula to find the next test in the Trial of Power. As they were resting in Castle Town, Zelda had approached the pair with startling news. A strange visitor had arrived at Hyrule Castle.

Ganondorf and Link had managed to reach Hyrule Castle Town in the evening of the day they left from Rito Village.

The town seemed normal, blissfully unaware of an increasingly dangerous evil that was gaining power. Blissfully unaware that soon, ancient deities from the old legends Link read when he was a child would get involved with Hyrule's affairs.

When Valoria gains full power, what are these people going to do? Me, Ganondorf, and Zelda will be fighting him off. But what will they do? the hero worried at one of the sleeves of his tunic.

He decided not to worry about that. There wasn't enough time for worrying. Only enough time to prepare. He still needed to get the Triforce of Power amd Wisdom. He also needed to go to the Spectral Kingdom to get the Zonai Crystal upgraded with the tribe's magic.

Definitely no time for worrying. Link decided.

Ganondorf and Link walked forward towards the road to the castle when Queen Zelda came forward.

"Link! You're back. Are you busy right-" she finally noticed Ganondorf. "Link... who is this?"

"I'm Ganondorf. I was sent here from the Sacred Realm to assist you in your battle against Valoria. And don't worry, I have no evil intentions." Ganondorf introduced himself to Zelda.

"We will have to see about that. Link, are you busy? Nevermind, this is too urgent. Follow." Zelda demanded.

Link followed behind. Ganondorf started to trail behind them. "Not you. I'm not sure I even want to believe you." she said sharply.

Ganondorf's face shifted slightly, maybe frustrated or hurt. But he turned back anyways.

Link followed Zelda. "We had an eventful night yesterday." she started. She sounded uneasy.

Link looked at her. She looked uncomfortable as well. If Zelda is worried, perhaps she found out something she wished she hadn't.

"A boy around the age you were when you became the Hyrule Warrior approached the council last night. He boasts a similar green attire like yours. Except his was a slightly different shade of green. Darker, perhaps.

"The sleeves underneath the tunic were white and he wore brown gloves. No one knew who this guy was. But he claims that you and I should know by heart. I was thinking a past hero, but that would seem absurd, right?" Zelda looked at Link for confirmation.

Link shook his head. "Not absurd. It was the Hero of Time." he said. Zelda was taken aback.

"The Hero of Time? Link, that makes no sense." she said incredulously.

Link sighed. "When a person's life ends, they die. That's obvious. But if it's a person who is tied to the Triforce or even the Six Sages from the Legend of Time, they are sent to the Sacred Realm. That is how Ganondorf is here. He is tied to the Triforce through the Triforce of Power. Me and you are tied through the Triforce of Courage and Wisdom." he explained calmly.

Zelda looked dumbfounded. "And you know this... how, exactly?" she tried.

"Because I am a hero. Soon my life will fall in step with every other past hero. It will fade into legend. And I have the memories of every other hero as well. I can see Hyrule's past. I plan to rewrite every legend with exact accuracy and also add my own story in there." Link decided not to include the fact that he had to fight a new, much more powerful evil first.
