Jack was one of the kids who were just plainly cold, dark, and intimidating. His bland, monstrous personality was almost preventing him from making any friends, let alone acquaintances. His life was rather miserable, boring, and dark. Too dark. From when he walked along down the school hallway, people would stare and gossip on about how he's the emo kid. Walking around the school with no friends, and only the music in his headphones keeping him company along the journey. When he spoke in his casual, deep, intimidating voice, everyone would go silent. His complexion was pale, his eyes as blue as he was inside, and when he glares, people shudder for a long moment.
So, people were confused on why the hell he pulled a girlfriend of his own, and the girlfriend, was never similar to him, she was rather optimistic, bright, and elegant. She was the sweetest human being in existance, so they really never knew as to why the cold-hearted of a man had pulled, let alone loved a girl, as lovely as she can be.
Everyday, hand in hand, their fingers intertwined, they would walk the hallways with all pairs of eyes staring at the both of them. One time Jack had been annoyed at the people snooping in their buisness rather than minding their own, he glared daggers at them. Despite wanting to know why the couple was complicated, they had just looked away. No one had dared to take one step into him, except for Elsa, whom he had found very annoying, yet he loved dearly.
How exactly did she succeed on being a part of his life? Well, it started on when they were paired as project partners. He was a stubborn piece of shit, if you would ask. He would always try and push her away, saying, "You can do it yourself and just put my name on it."
Being a stubborn piece of shit as well as he is, Elsa never gave up. She never knew why, why was he so cold to her. Why doesn't he want people in his life? Why had he preferred to be alone?
His answer? Simple. "People are traitors."
Elsa had a little confusion on her expression when he replied, but as she knew more about him, she started to understand.
She fell inlove with him, his sensitive, soft side. The way he spoke her name, filled with affection, yearning for the same thing. How protective he was when it came to walking down the streets. He made sure nobody ruins her day, she would wear whatever the hell she wants to and he would not give a damn. He would often catch some men eyeing her up and down whenever she wore crop top, or short skirts. Even in the most casual outfit, she cannot escape the creepy stares down her body. He was thankful she was too oblivious to even notice them.
Oh, how Jack hates men..
The only time Jack smiled at her was when they've had their first kiss. It wasn't a smirk, or a grin. It was a genuine, warm, loving smile.
Oh, how she loves this man with every fibre left in her.
"Stop being like this." Jack said, giving her a stern look.
She leaned her head on his shoulder, her eyes rather flirtatious.. they felt like calling out to him, tempting him to pull her close and kiss her hard here and there. "Being like what?" She whispers softly in his ear, teasing him.
"Being so damn annoying." He was glaring at her, yet he couldn't let go of her hand. Jack was trying hard not to act all soft in front of her. Elsa loved it when he acts all soft and caring for her, but he hated that side. He never wanted to be vulnerable. To be weak. The nights he had cried onto her, questioning his life decisions, wondering why he was too naive to trust his ex-friends. Yeah, screw that. He should be the tough one.
