Boys are Weird

I was not expecting my brothers to be all together tonight. I didn't even know that Kenzo-nii and Ichiro-nii travelled back. So, I was surprised, I haven't seen them in months! Kenzo-nii looking all professional with a suit and Ichiro-nii as well. There was some sort of tension between my brothers and Ran. I don't care if they're over a foot taller than me, I might be small but I can be feisty. Kenzo-nii won't back down though.

"Nii-chan" I warned. He's the strictest and most protective out of all of them, but he's a softy when it comes to me, sometimes. He looked at my other brothers and they finally backed down. Thank goodness. They ruffled my hair and then Ran's... Huh?

They dropped off their luggage in Daisuke-nii's room and changed to a more comfortable clothes, tshirt and shorts. Ran, Daisuke-nii, and Aro-nii continued with the Smash Bros while I finish my assignments. At least those 3 get a long, sort of.

"Stop eating my character, brat!" I heard Aro-nii said. I looked over and found Ran and Daisuke-nii cracking up. I just shook my head.

Kenzo-nii and Ichiro-nii joined them on the couch, watching the current match. They were loud.

"I swear, Takahashi, eat Pikachu one more time" Aro-nii said.

"I dare you to do it," I heard Ichiro-nii.

I just smirked and continued on my work which is almost complete. I noticed Kenzo-nii joining me.

"You've grown up pretty well," he said, sitting across from me. I looked up and smiled, offering him a pocky.

"I'm so proud of you for making the team," he continued.

"It's just hard work, nii-chan, and lots and lots of patience," I told him.

"I know that, how's your knee?"

"It's better, it's not 100% yet, but it's good enough," I showed him my knee. He smiled.

"So, what's up with Takahashi?"

There goes the question. I knew he was up to something, he always is. I finished my assignment before looking up at him.

"Nothing"

"Nothing?"

"Nothing"

"I highly doubt that, Daisuke told me what happened with him and Ishikawa," he said.

I knew he knew something. Daisuke-nii snitching on me, how could he?! I sighed, trying to find the right words on how to explain it.

"It's in the past now, nii-chan, Yuki-senpai and I are like brother and sisters" I started.

"Oh, really? and those Instagram pictures?"

I sighed and explained to him that our relationship was a weird one. How we enjoyed spending time with each other, but there was nothing more to it. How we acted like we're a couple, but the feelings weren't there.

"What about Takahashi?"

I looked over to Ran, who's enjoying the game with my other brothers.

"I heard he turned you down?"

"Yeah, like a year ago"

"He turned you down again during Christmas break," he added.

"I.. well.. I didn't confess to him. I just wanted to clear things up" I explained.

"That's why you had a meltdown here?"

"He asked for me to let him go, which I did, but we just somehow manage to end up like this.. friends of some sort" I said.
