Idiots

Wednesday... I worked during break. Soma-san called me early in the morning, waking me and Ran up. She asked to send a few more pictures from the matches and to update her schedule for next week. Ran got us breakfast and we both ate in bed while I worked and he... well, he relaxed.

"They're going against China tomorrow and then Australia... yes, we'll get good content.. okay.. bye"

"It's break, why are you working?" Ran asked, feeding me a slice of strawberry.

"Because... I don't even know... can I just sleep for today?" I asked.

"I don't mind spending the day here"

"You have to talk to Fukuyama-san, remember? I also need to check up on dad"

"How's Higurashi-san?"

"He's fine, Aro-nii is staying with him for a while"

"That's good, let me know if you're planning on visiting him so I can come with you"

I nodded.

I spoke to my dad that morning while Ran.. well, he said he was going to work out on the gym.

It was lunch now and I have not heard back from him so I decided to get lunch with the girls. It was in a local restaurant nearby. Some players were there too from AVC.

"Soma-san called early this morning.. like early morning.. she said we're doing great job and to keep it up"

"All we do is take pictures and videos then post them online" Jenny said.

"True, but take it as a compliment since we all came here not knowing how everything will turn out and you two seems like you're getting along with the team.. they can be too hard to handle, but you two are doing great managing them" I told them, finishing up my lunch.

"They're fun to be around with when we're not working.." Miyaka said.

"and they're all good looking.." Jenny added. We all laughed at Jenny's comment

I decided to walk around the area and get some snacks before going back to my room. The weather is pretty nice, not too hot and not too cold either. I heard that there's a typhoon coming up in the next couple of days.. hopefully it's not that bad. As I was entering the konbini, I bumped into someone..

"Higurashi-san"

Shit.

"Fukuyama-san, hi" I said.

"Getting anything inside?" he asked.

"Yeah, just some snacks"

"Oh, alright, heading back after?"

"Mhmm"

"I'll accompany you then" he said and followed me inside the store.

I got my usual snacks, pocky and strawberry milk, I got extra for Ran. I paid for my snacks and headed out. Fukuyama-san and I walked back to the hotel in silence, I mean... what am I going to say to him?

"How are you and Takahashi?" he asked.

"We're fine" I told him.

"That's good"

"Yeah"

"I saw that video the other night, the instagram one.. he really does like you huh"

I smiled and just nodded.

"How long have you known him? I'm sorry if I'm asking too much questions"

"That's fine, I've known him since we were 6, he's my neighbor and bestfriend"
