I wish that things will change around here. Spokane is so boring with the same things that happen.

My friends have been trying to get me to be with Cloe. I don't like here. She and I made out at a party once when I was too drunk to care of who I was kissing.

My parents are always at work so it's no like I see them anymore. I want things to change so that I can actually have something different in my life.

But most of all, I do want a girlfriend. I miss having someone to love and love me back. I've only had one relationship, but that didn't last long because Cloe decided to mess things up for me.

She acts like she is entitled to me because not only are we neighbors, we have the same friends and because of that one kiss.

So, anytime I try to get close to any girl, she runs them off with lies.

I want a girl who is real and can see behind all the bullshit that Cloe spews on a daily basis.

The only thing that we don't have is common about our social status is that she goes to a private school while I go to a public school.

I made my parents let me go to a public school so that I don't feel like snobbish high class.

When I put it that way for them, they agreed. I also like to play guitar but I haven't told anyone that. I know that my parents would help me do anything that I want, but I don't want people to know about that just yet, because I want to make sure that I stick with the guitar for a while.

I used to play the piano, but I had stopped because I got annoyed with all the concerts for auctions and for the high class.

I want to be able to like what I am doing before I let people know what I am doing on my free time.

"Xav, can you take me to the park?" Amie, my niece asks.

I turn to her away from my desk and give her a smile on the corner of my mouth.

"Sure."

When my sister is busy with college or work and can't afford to bring her to day care or a babysitter, she has me watch Amie.

I don't mind. I love my niece. I hope that I get a daughter as best as she is when I am older.

I grab my shoes and wallet and then we head downstairs to go to the park that is just a couple miles away.

Rather than taking my car, we walk to the park. When she gets tired I carry her for a little bit until she wants back down.

When we get to the park Amie runs to the swings.

"Push me, Xav!!!" She yells excitedly.

I go over to her and start pushing her on the swing as she kicks her legs at the wrong times. After a bit I show her on how to swing by herself.

After that we go over to the food stands and get ice cream and something to eat.

We sit down at a metal grated table with benches attached and eat our food. I make silly faces at Amie while we eat and she giggles.

I like hearing my niece giggle, so whenever I can I try to make her laugh.

After eating we stay for a couple more hours and play on the jungle gym.

I also chase her around as she squeals and laugh and runs away from me as I pretend to be a monster coming to eat her. I blow a raspberry on her stomach when I catch her and she laughs and wiggles in my arms.

I laugh and then set her back down. As I do, I see Cloe, walking towards us and I decide to act like I didn't see her and pick Amie up and walk away.

"Are you ready to go home?" I ask.

"Hmm-mm." She says as she nods her head up and down.

I carry her as I walk us home.

After we get home she goes to her play room and I go back up to my bedroom.

I sit down at my desk and start writing song lyrics.

Along with playing the guitar I also like writing my own music.

And I hope one day that I will be able to play it for a girl that I love.
