When I hear a thud come from the bathroom. I am scared that she slipped and fell or something. I do not expect to see my girl on her knees throwing up violently. I hold her hair back so that she doesn’t get any vomit in her hair.

When I bring her out to the kitchen when she is done throwing up I get even more scared because she violently grows sicker just standing there. So when Mom comes into the kitchen and sees her, she thinks maybe she got sick from being pregnant, which is still a possibility, but I don’t think that is what it is.

Mom must’ve realized that it is worse than she thought because she grabs her car keys and we leave to go to the hospital, but on our way out, Amie and Destiny sees us leaving and follows us out to the car. We don’t have time to argue with them to stay home so we just bring them along with us.

On our way to the hospital Rose will not stop shaking. I am literally starting to panic because I love this girl and I don't want anything to happen to her.

When we get inside the hospital even one of the doctors looks worried about her because he comes running over to us and has us following him to one of the emergency rooms in the back.

They want to get a C.T. scan of her. Mom and I help Rose get out of her clothes and into one of the hospital gowns, I don’t care that Mom doesn't want me to help. She is my girl and she is sick, and I am not leaving her for a second.

When she comes back from the C.T scan. She is no longer shaking, but she is still sweating a lot. When Rose is getting her C.T. scan I call her mom to let her know that Rose is in the hospital. Luckily, Catharine works at the hospital, so she doesn’t need to get here since she is already here.

When Rose gets back from having her C.T scan she won’t let go of my hand. Not even when her mom wants to talk to her alone, actually when her mom asks to talk to her alone she moves closer to me.

Amie is watching Rose, not letting Rose out of her sight either. Rose waves Amie over to her weakly and Amie instantly accepts and lays down beside Rose.

“Are you going to be okay?” Amie asks.

Rose shrugs ever so slightly that it just looks like it could’ve just been a jerk in her shoulder.

“I don’t know.” She sounds even weaker than I thought.

Amie moves in closer to her and Rose looks to be in pain but doesn’t push Amie away. The doctor finally comes in.

“You had a rupture with one of your kidneys, so we are going to have to take it out immediately or it’s just going to get worse the longer you wait.” He says getting straight to the point. Well, at least he doesn’t beat around the bush, like most doctors do.

“Is that why I got sick all of the sudden.”

“Looks to be.” He looks around at the others. “And it could also be because you are also pregnant.”

Rose looks like she is okay with that but at the same time she looks scared. Both of our mothers’ glare at us. It is only Destiny that seems happy with the news.

The doctor looks at Amie who is on the bed with Rose.

“Sorry, but you can’t come into the surgery room.” He says softly to Amie. She moves closer to Rose.

I take Amie off of the bed so that the doctor can take Rose to do surgery on her.

They leave, and Amie watches the door the whole time. I look down at the floor because I can’t stand with the glares that our mothers are giving me.

“I thought we talked about you using protection.” Mom says.

“Using protection for what?” Amie asks. “Did he get hurt?”
