Y/n's POV:

I kept my punches forceful trying throw the next faster and faster with no signs of stopping. Sweat shimmered on my body as my fists flew out to the punching bag filled with sand. The leather bag swayed from side to side, swaying farther as I hit it harder. Thoughts spun around in my mind. Madison was on my mind. Everything was on my mind. Only I and Elias know that they were on my land. Last night. I'm the one who gave them ride. Not even Mason knows. I know if he did, all of this would've been over and my head would be wanted even more. A death for a death.

Dad doesn't know and I don't plan on telling him. I was supposed to find a weakness. Just one little weakness. Last night something changed while she was trapped between my arms, confidence, a sexual confidence. A bravery that did not show at our dinner but last night it did. I triggered something in her that made her take a step up. Was it that? Was that her weakness? How would I even try again? To prove my theory right? I need an answers.

"Y/n." A soft voice hit me and I stopped punching holding the lifted bag in place. I wiped my forehead with the back of my hand and I turned around seeing Elias fiddling with his fedora, "Are you going somewhere?" I ask him unwrapping my hands walking closer to him, "Yes, I'm taking a leave of absence." He cleared his throat and I looked at him. "A leave of absence. Why?" I asked only looking at him, he's leaving. He can't leave. "I can't stay here, not when you and me know what happened last night. I fell in love with the enemy Y/n. I fell in love with her and I can't stand not seeing her. I can't keep walking in this house knowing that they were both supposed to be dead already." He choked out.

"You can't leave Elias, no one has to know. We're not telling anyone okay." I tried to keep him here. "We don't even know if they're still alive, we left them and they could've got caught. I'm leaving to where I won't think about her. It'll be the best for the both of us. I'm sorry for putting you through that. It was reckless and selfish." He fitted his hat on his head, "We'll see them." Shit. He stopped walking looking up at me.

That was reckless, "We can find them. Go onto their land tonight and find them." What am I saying? I just need him to stay. "We ain't doin' that Y/n, do know the risk we'll be taking." He tries to deny my offer, "When have you ever been scared of risks we take them all the time. Let's take this one. You're not leaving me Elias." I tell him but he didn't say anything. "I know you love her, I know you do and you deserve something good especially with everything that I've put you through, you wanting to prove your point last night that smiling can do good, you've convinced me so we're gonna see your girl okay." I pulled him into a hug feeling him nod.

"Now get out of that suit you're scarring me." I joke pulling away seeing him walk out of the room. How the fuck are we going to pull this off? I spent the rest of the day in the city trying to find a way around in which we won't get caught. I went into each business asking what time they'll close to make sure no one will see us.

I know the times when the streets aren't the busiest. We would only have one chance doing this right and it's not even considering what happens on the other side of the boarder line. I've memorized the checkpoints of where we needed to go and I had confidence that we'd be fine. "Are you sure about this?" It was now dark and we stood in front of a steel fence, the fence that separated the two lands. "We're here it's too late now." I said and I started climbing it dropping down onto my feet, the place felt unfamiliar.

Elias soon followed but fell on his butt instead of his feet. "You know you make it so easy." He dusts of his pants and I just shook my head. After getting a few stories from people who've been here before, I know where the Beer Estate is along with how to get there. "How are we going to find Isabella?" Elias follows me as we stayed close to the fence. "She's Madison's best friend right, so we find the estate, we find the both of them. I highly doubt that they'd be living apart." If anything they'd be like us.
