Chapter 19: Rebuilding part 1

Chapter 19: Rebuilding part one

                                                                                                   

It has been a month since the tornado that destroy our home and we are doing some what better. We have been living in a house that only has four bedrooms and is very small; we are always in each other ways. We have two months till we go back to school and it June fourth. Our new house is almost done; when you have seven vampires that do not sleep and have perfect vision and can see in the dark anything can be done fast. Right now it has two stories and we are working on the third floor today. The walls are up we just have to put some walls up to make rooms. So when I woke up this morning we all went over to the house and started to work on it. It is kinda hard to work fast sometimes when you have two humans that don't know about vampires helping. So when my mom and dad are there the Cullen's have to work at human pace and they hate that. But they are very great full for my mom and dads help. We

We got to the house at around nine in the morning and we have been working on it for about four hours now. Dad got off the ladder that he was on and came up to me and Tay.

“Well girls, me and your mom have to get going. We have some stuff to do at the house and then we have to go shopping,” dad told us.

I got off the ladder that I was on and gave them both a hug and told them I will talk to them later; then they left.

I looked at Tay then and smiled.

“Tay, you can call Jake and tell him and the pack that they can come over now and help us if they want to,” I told her.

She told me okay and then I went back up the ladder I was on and started to paint the outside again. I was working hard and I needed a drink so I came down and went to the table to get a drink of water. Then Jake and his friends came out of the woods shirtless and ready to work. I ran up to Jake and he picked me up and spun me around in a hug. I laughed and he then put me down.

“Thank you so much Jake and guys, God know we need all the help we can get,” I told him.

Then my vampire family came around and they showed the pack the plans and then all 10 of them went to work. I was inside with mom Esme and we started to paint the living room walls, well what walls were there to paint. I mean the whole front wall was nothing but a big glass wall that had metal blinds on the inside; most of the house was like that. Big glass windows and it made the whole house look real big.

“Jennifer, I am going to the other house and cook some lunch/dinner for you and the pack. I am going to tell Carlisle and I will see you soon,” mom told me.

“Oh okay, thanks mom. I will be here still painting,” I told her.

She came to me and gave me a hug and then left to find dad. I was getting tired so I went outside and sat down and watched the sight in front of me. It looked so cool watching the vampires working at vampire speed and the wolf pack showing off their muscles. I looked at the time and it was just 2pm and the last floor was almost done being build. Mom Esme came back smiling.

“Hey guys and gals, lunch is done. Come to the other house to eat and then you all can come back and work,” mom told us.

So I got up and Edward came to me and gave me a hug. Then me, Tay and the wolf pack went to the other house to eat. We got there and mom had made sandwiches and had all kinds of chips and dips. Also all kinds of soda that you could choose from. The guys let me and Tay fix our plates first and when I got out of the way they all went for the food. I sat in the living room with mom while Tay stayed with Jake and the other guys. I looked at mom and smiled.
