Chapter 49: Wedding reception

Chapter 49: Wedding Reception

Alice P.O.V

We all got down the isle and I sat the two most beautiful couples I have ever seen. I was so happy that the planning and the wedding itself went on without any troubles.

“Okay everyone, it is now time for pictures. I want the pictures to be taken by the gazebo. So if the wedding party will follow me back to the meadow then well get that done. As for the rest of the guest, please go back to the house and get ready for the wedding reception dinner. We all will be there in about an hour or two, thank you,” I told everyone.

People started to leave and it just left me and the wedding party for the pictures to be taken. We all walked back to the meadow and started to get our pictures taken. The last picture was of the whole group and we all looked so beautiful. Even it the clouds are out and not the sun which was a good thing. We got done with all the pictures in a two hour time.

“Okay guys, lets go to the house and get ready to have some fun,” I told them.

Edward and Jacob helped their brides into the limo and the rest of us got in our cars. Then we headed home. We got to the house at 6:30pm and everyone was there waiting for us to come.

“Now guys, just like we rehearsal, lets go in,” I told them.

Me and Sam went in first and took our seat at the wedding party table. Then came in the bride maids and grooms men. Then me and Sam got up at the same time and walked to the mic.

“We would like to introduce to everyone the brides and grooms, Edward and Jennifer Cullen and Jacob and Taylor Black,” we told them.

They cam in and they took their seats and then Sam sat down and I started to talk again.

“Now people, we are so thankful that you all have came to the wedding and hope that you all will have fun. Now, if the food servers please bring out the food then we will start to have dinner. Then after dinner me and Sam will do our speeches and we will go from there,” I told everyone.

The food servers came out and gave everyone what they had per-ordered. Then all the humans started to eat and talk. I had soft music playing while we ate and talked. Everyone got done eating around 8pm and then Sam stood up and tapped his glass and got everybody's attention.

“Hello, as all of you may know I am Sam Uley and I am Jake and Edward's best man. I am going to start out with the speeches,” he told us all.

Sam P.O.V.

“My first speech is for the grooms,”. I toast to the groom's. They have shown us all their selections of their brides, and their understanding of reality in their selections of me as their best man. Even though I may be the best today, they have shown that it is them that has the most luck. I want to thank both of you for picking me to be your best man and I love you guys. Now my seconded one is to the brides. I rise to offer a toast to the brides. “May this day be the beginning of a new chapter in a love story that will endure forever and bring joy and happiness to them and their husbands. May you two always remember and honor the vows they made today and let you be the strong foundation on which your lives together will be built. I love you girls,”.

Alice P.O.V.

“Thank you Sam, and now it is my turn to do my speech to the wonderful couples. It can be hard to share your best friends with someone else, but I have been thrilled to share, Jennifer and Taylor with Edward and Jacob. The love story you all show to each other is inspiring and beautiful and I look forward to seeing it continue to grow. I am honored to be able to rise a toast to the two wonderful best friends and to their new husbands. I love you all guys”, I told them.
