Chapter 14: Meadow

I woke up the next morning and I felt for Edward and he was not next to me. So I sat up and I looked around. I then felt my eyes pop out of my head because our room had been invaded by hundreds of flowers and balloons. I smiled and then the door opened up and Edward came in with a tray of food for me. I sat up and leaned against a pillow and he sat the tray in from to me. I had eggs, toast, bacon and some orange juice. Edward sat at the end of the bed and was smiling at me while I ate. When I got done he took my tray and he came back to me. I smiled at him then.

“What is all this for?” I asked him.

“It is a surprise, and you will found out real soon,” he told me with a smile.

Alice came into our room after knocking. She smiled at me then.

“Jennifer honey, I need you to take a shower and then I will help you get ready,” she told me.

Her and Edward left the room and I just sat there a minute looking at all the flowers and then I got up and went to take a shower. I got done and then Alice came into the the bathroom carrying a bag with her. I looked at her and she smiled at me and told me to sit. I did as she said and then she started to blow dry my hair and she fixed it into a pony tail. She then handed me the bag and told me to put the clothes on that were in it. I took out the clothes and it was a bikini, shirt and shorts. I looked at her and smiled. I got my clothes on and she then told me to go downstairs that Edward was waiting for me. I gave her a hug and we walked downstairs and then I saw Edward. He was dressed in shorts and sleeveless shirt, I just stood there and was looking at him. He came up to me and kissed me.

“Are you ready to go?” he asked me.

I could not talk so I just nodded my head. He smiled at me and grabbed my hand and we went to his car. We told the family bye and then we left. I looked at my wonderful Edward.

“Where are you taking me?” I asked him.

“We are going to Port Angles,” he told me.

I thought about it for a moment and asked him why? He just smiled at me and told me that I will see soon. So I just sat back and enjoyed the ride. He then pulled up to a hotel and I looked at him and he smiled at me again. We got out and went into this hotel and we walked up to the desk. The guy at the desk looked up at us and smiled.

“How may I help you two?” he asked.

“Reservations for Cullen,” Edward told him.

“Ah yes, Mr. Cullen you are just staying here just for the day?” the guy behind the desk asked Edward.

Edward told him yes and the guy handed Edward the room key. Then the bell boy had a cart and loaded our bags onto it. He then told us to follow him and we did. We all got on the elevator and went to the top floor and when the doors opened up my eyes popped out of my head for the second time today. Edward grabbed my hand and we walked into this room that was so beautiful and elegant that I almost started to cry. Edward told the bell boy to put our bags in the bedroom. When he came back Edward gave him a tip and he then left me and Edward. I looked at Edward and he smiled at me.

“So Jennifer, what do you think so far?” he asked me.

I looked around still feeling a little confused and I smiled at him.

“What are we doing?” I asked him.

“Well Jennifer, this room is the Cullen room and we are using it as a changing room,” he told me.
