Can had decided to go back to the agency, with only a couple of hours before time to pick Sanem up from the office, driving all the way home seemed pointless. He would visit with Emre and maybe talk about returning back to the agency sometime soon. Although work wasn't a priority right now, he knew at some point it would have to be. The thought of that talk with Metin still nagged at him. He would call him later In the day and set a time to get together, putting it off wouldn't make it any better. With Sanem ready to speak to her parents about their relationship, the need to get things out in the open with Metin was even more important. He was sure his feelings for Sanem were  more than friendship, and if that was the case than he didn't want Sanem working there. If he went back to the agency, maybe he could convince her to return there as well, but that would mean he would have to tell her that Metin thought more of her than a friend or an employee.

Sanem took her fear of not being able to get rid of the cane and filed it away in the back of her mind for the rest of the afternoon. She had a ton of work to get done before 5:00, and she was sure she didn't want to work over, not tonight. She had her plans, it was time to talk to her parents about Can. This time she wouldn't let them influence her, she didn't want to make the same mistake as before. She knew her heart and that's all that mattered. Her parents had loved him once and they accepted him as their son, but after all that happened, both her parents refused to talk about him and blamed him for her accident. The fact that Can had already been to her parents, explaining everything that happened and taking responsibility for his part in it all would make it easier for her to be able to talk to them. She just wanted it all out in the open, no hiding or lying about anything. That's the last thing she wanted this time.....

The agency had been moving forward, the possibilities of a couple of new client's had the office buzzing. They really needed a fresh new campaign to get the excitement flowing through the office. Deren had been heading the creative team as they worked on the presentation for a new line of work out clothes. It was a relatively small line but they were hoping to widen their inventory with a top of the line campaign. Erme took Can in his office to give him a quick tour of what they had so far, " I know you aren't ready to come back yet, but if you could just look at what we have so far, maybe you can give us your feedback." Emre suggested, laying out the presentation boards on his desk for Can to look at. At first look the concept was good, but it needed something, something special like bringing in people that had never worked out or exercised before. Make them want to buy those tights and tank tops for the first time and give it a try. Emre and Deren agreed, " You're right Can, maybe a more simple approach would capture more attention. There's probably more people that don't work out than do, so focus on them." Deren replied, always in awe of Cans talent for seeing the less obvious. " See Abi, we need you back here, the agency needs you. Why don't you come back." Emre asked as he slapped him on the back. Can smiled, " Maybe soon, but there's some things I need to take care of first."

It was late in the afternoon when Metin returned to the office. He was excited to tell her about the hearing and the outcome, " It was perfect Sanem, everything went just as planned, that is thanks to you." He gushed, giving her a big hug. She shied away, a bit shocked at his actions, "What did I do Metin, you're the attorney."  She could feel her face flush with heat, he had never acted that way before, she thought as she quickly moved to the other side of the desk. Metin clapped his hands together, " I think we need to celebrate, what do you say. Let me take you out of a drink, maybe even dinner. What do you say?...You know what I won't take no for an answer." He demanded, as he stood smiling at her. All of her defenses came rushing up to meet her like a tidal wave, just the way he looked at her was different, his whole demeanor had changed.

She smiled, trying to stay calm, " Metin thanks for the invitation, but I have to go home this evening. I have plans with my family tonight. And besides there's no reason to celebrate the fact that I was merely doing my job, you are the one that does all the work in court." He shook his head, " Thats not true, if it wasn't for you keeping up with everything and keeping me lined out, I wouldn't be nearly as effective in court."  He stepped around the desk and reached for her hand. On instinct Sanem jerked away, " Metin, If it's ok with you I would like to leave a few minutes early today, as I said, I have plans with my family tonight and I don't want to be late." She turned to leave his office, her head swimming in confusion. "Wait Sanem." Metin called after her, " Are you sure you have plans with your family tonight, or with Can. You know he's not going to stick around don't you. He never does, it will be just like before......can you take that. I don't want to see you fall apart again."  His words stung her like a million bees. How did he know, what gave him the right to say anything like that to her. She spun around to look at him, " Metin I appreciate your friendship, and you wanting the best for me, I really do, but you don't know anything about my relationship with Can, so I don't think you need to offer me any advice in the matter." She nodded, hoping that he wouldn't have anything else to add, as she walked to her desk.

She grabbed her bag and her cane and started to the door. Metin walked to his office door, " You know I'm right Sanem, that's just Can Divit, he doesn't make long term commitments. I wish I was wrong, but I have seen this all of our lives. I'm sorry....

She felt the tears burn as she rushed out towards the front door. How could he say those things to me, she thought, he doesn't know anything. And why did it matter to him anyway, he was just her boss. She wiped that tear from her face as she stepped out on the sidewalk, wishing that Can was there as she glanced to her watch.

Within seconds Cans truck pulled up in front of the building. He jumped out, " Hey bebek, you got out early. Why didn't you wait inside for me, it's hot out here." He asked, opening the door for her and helping her in. She smiled, her heart feeling lighter and happier, " It's ok, I knew you would be here any minute and the fresh air was good."  She replied, letting all those doubts slip away.....

She looked at Can as they pulled away.....Yes, this was Can Divit, but not the same Can Divit

She knew that Metin didn't know anything about this man....

But she did....and she loved him.
