Ashley's POV

I blinked once, twice.

The two guys that were standing in front of us, and might I add standing in their boxers, were gone and replaced by two gigantic wolves.

Alex had been replaced by a huge dark brown wolf with white paws and white tips on the tail and ears. His brown human eyes seem to change to a luminous yellow in his wolf form.

Jake, on the other hand is on a whole different level. If I thought Alex was huge, Jake was towering over us. His previously grey eyes shone a reflective silver and his black fur seem to make his eyes pop!

Even in their wolf forms, I could tell they were tense. Really tense. Alex had his ears flatten, probably afraid we would scream.

I spoke first.

'You two look larger up close. I like the eyes Jake, very.. Mysterious' I nodded my head in approval.

'Aww look Ash! Alex has white socks!' Sam giggled and pointed to his paws.

Our reactions were certainly not what they expected. Jake looked like he was punched in the guts and their jaws were hanging slightly open. Might as well say it to them loud and clear.

'Sorry to break it to you but, yea, we know you guys and every one in the "territory",' I put my fingers up and air quoted that, 'are werewolves. In fact, we knew from the start.'

Jake's POV

I closely my eyes and waited for the screaming. Alex flattened his ears and tensed up a bit.

We waited.. For a good 10 seconds, but the screaming never came. At first I thought they passed out or something, but when I opened my eyes I saw them looking at us like nothing happened. They weren't moving at all.

Ok? Maybe they passed out eyes open? Is that even possible though.

''You two look larger up close. I like the eyes Jake, very.. Mysterious' Ashley started, she wasn't freaking out or anything. Just talking normally and looking at us.

What the hell?

'Aww look Ash! Alex has white socks!'
Sam squealed and pointed towards Alex's paws. He looked just as confused.

'Sorry to break it to you but, yea, we know you guys and every one in the "territory" are werewolves. In fact, we knew from the start.' Ashley added on smiling at us.

Wait what? They knew? The entire time? They knew?!

'Well this wasn't a reaction we expected..'

'No kidding Alex! When did they find out anyway? And Ashley stated that we looked bigger up close, so she's seen us before?'

'For now, let's shift back and clear some things up..'

I felt myself shift back and opened my eyes to find myself back in human form. The girls were staring at us, but no this isn't the time. After we wore our shirts and jeans back on, we settled down on the couch.

'Sooo...' Sam dragged on twirling a lock of her hair in her fingers, 'You guys have cool wolf forms.'

'Wait. You girls knew we are werewolves from the start?' I eyed them.

'Yup, well actually Ash was the one that found out.'

Our attention snapped to Ashley who was busy tying braids on Sam's hair.

'Hmm? Oh yea, I was the one who found out. Sorry I didn't break it to you two earlier, but we were kinda pissed you kidnapped us,' she licked her lips and continued, 'Sure we may be your mates and all but kidnapping people is against the law you know?'

Huh?! So she knew everything? Even about mates and all? Wait, so is she a werewolf too? She doesn't smell like one. Actually now that I think about it, she doesn't smell exactly human either. What is she??

'Aye Jake, don't need to think so hard. We're having a heart-to-heart conversation now. Whatever questions you have, I'll answer it' Her teasing voice broke me out of my thoughts. She was smirking at me and barely containing her laugher.

'How did you know we are werewolves?' Alex asked.

'For starters, you guys growled out "mate" when you first saw us. And two, you didn't smell like a human. Oh! Third, we saw you guys shift earlier today. So yea.'

'So.. Are you ok with us being werewolves and all?' Hey, don't judge. I know there are better things to ask but I needed to know!

'Well yea, but I'm still pissed that you kidnapped us. I'll be expecting a sincere apology in the future.

The future, our future. My wolf and I got excited just thinking about it.

Snap out of it. There are much more serious matters at hand now.

No, not now damnit. She said we didn't smell like humans so, she isn't human as well? Is that what's she implying?

Alex seemed to catch up with me as well because he shot the next question full force, 'Wait. We didn't smell like humans?' He paused and Ashley nodded, 'How did you know what we smelled like? And what are you?'

About time they asked.

After I gave away yet another huge clue, Alex finally manned up and asked me the question.

Sam was busy braiding my hair like this whole werewolf situation didn't bother her. Well, it didn't. When you have a Flügel shifter best friend/sister for 18 years already, these things don't really surprise her anymore.

'I'm not a human' I stated and Jake looked well. Let's say his expression was a mixture of confusion, relief and shock, same goes for Alex.

'I'm.. Er,' I scratched my head causing Sam to slap my hand because she was still playing with my hair, 'I'm a Flügel shifter. The last of my kind.'

Kinda short, so next chapter would be a bit longer.
