Ashley's POV
-----

'Ashley! Can you please tell me what was that just now?'

I didn't stop till I reached the pack house and whatever the hell it was back there, Sir Creepy-eyes didn't follow in. Well, at least he's smart enough not to enter a werewolves territory.

'Lun--'

'For fucks sake Ash--'

Oh bite me will you! These two are even more naggy then my parents, *cough* when they were still alive. Call me heartless for joking about my parents death but shit damn, it's been nearly 16 years. I ain't gonna wail over that no way.

'Good lord will you two stop yapping? You sound like a bunch of puppies! Nothing happened back there ok? Can we please just forget that or do I have to erase that out of your memory?' I stopped so abruptly, with them behind me, turned around and was face to face with Sam. She had a concerned and scared look on her face, I could hear her heart beat racing like mad, her breath in short and fast paces--

Alright stop. We do not need GirlXGirl ever in my life.

I took a step back and breathed in, 'Please? Just forget about it, I really don't feel like re-narrating my point of view.

Just when I thought they'd refused, Peter sighed and nodded for the both of them, 'Ok Ashley, but if anything else like this happens in the future, you'll have to tell me ok?'

'Deal, no one breath a word of this to Jake or I'll personally see to it that you'll regret it,' They bobbed their heads so fast, you might as well have thought that they had springs attached to their heads.

I was just about to open my mouth when I felt two large hands on my shoulder. Though I already knew who it was because of the tingling feel, but how did you expect me to react if you've just been chased by a demonic creepy dude, no doubt I'll freak out. Back to the little scare Jake gave me.

He spun me around so that I faced him and laughed at my colorful vocabulary, 'Whoa there, calm it with the swear words!' Then he went into serious mode, 'Did anything happen when you three were out?'

Being the loyal Third in Command, that title is way too long, Peter looked like he was ready to report every single detail that happened until I shut him up with a glare.

'Nope, we went to Starbucks and Peter saw heaven. A.k.a he tried sea salt caramel hot chocolate for the first time.' I might have rushed that out a bit too fast but thank cakes Jake didn't realize that.

He stared at me for a short while then relaxed, jeez I wonder what's got him up in such a worry. Didn't I prove it to him that I can handle myself and Sam anytime soon?

'Well, since we have nothing to do, could me and Sam er... Roam around the area or something? Without guards.'

He frowned, clearly not approving the idea of us walking around with the guards, but I pulled out my best puppy face and pouted.

Behind me I heard Sam crack up, she always says that looks really out-of-character for me. But she has to admit it works in my favor.

'I can't say no to those eyes, just stay in areas where the guards can see you.'

See? Toldja it works.

I think I surprised him, in a good way, when I wrapped my arms around his waist and promptly squeezed the breath out of him, 'Thanks Jake! You won't regret this.' I quickly let go of him when the color drained out of his face and dragged Sam out the door.

'Ow ow ow! Go easy on me, you have the strength of a freaking gorilla! If my wrists drop off--'

'Oh stop being so dramatic. And lower your voice, the guards are staring at us' I let go of her hand and dropped my rushed pace to a stroll, 'You wanted to know what happened right?'
