[RECAP]
Jake's POV
ーーーーーThere was something really wrong with my mate. When did this all started? She wasn't like this until one time, except I didn't know when. She just seemed to change her personality 180 degrees one day. I hear less and less of the snarky sarcastic remarks from her.
There's something wrong with Ashley. She's not herself since.. Well, since a few days ago.
My wolf was right, even if I can't trail her around, I can at least get someone to follow her.
'Peter.'
There was a slight static sound followed by an immediate reply.
'Yes Alpha Jake?'
'I need you to follow Ashley whenever she goes out the pack house. Trail her and keep me updated on her actions if you think I should know. Make sure she doesn't sense your presence. She's probably at the garage getting the car now.'
'Roger Alpha.'
And the connection went dead again.

Peter's POV
-----I waved her off and jogged to a distance, hiding behind a tree. It didn't take long, maybe about 3 seconds at the very least, to hear the low purring engine of 'Cadillac' or rather, the Lamborghini, start up. The moment I caught scent that Ashley had created a distance between the pack house and herself, I quickly stripped of my clothes and shifted into my wolf.
For a Delta it was of no surprise that the size of my wolf was larger than the other pack members. Of course, I was at least an inch smaller than the Alpha. My wolf was a dark grey with streaks of dull sliver running down my fur. Nothing as fancy as Alex's or Jake's but he was unique in his own way. Tyler, on the other hand, was large, rivaling Alex's wolf, as Head Warrior.
Size never mattered to me, ok maybe it did and I was a bit- just a bit jealous of Ty at the time, but hey I was 11 when I met his wolf form. Size is important, especially to the Alpha or the Head Warrior, but my department focuses on speed. My warriors aren't bulky and built like rock walls like Tyler's bunch of muscle heads. No no. We are agile, slender though muscular. We train on our speed, agility, reflexes. If one were to duel with us, you wouldn't find us charging head first like some hot headed wolf... Sorry Ty.. You'd fine us springing back and forth, attacking quickly and jumping back out before you can realize what just happened.
You could say we were training to achieve what the werecats have. Though our pack has never had any sort of trouble with them before but it pays to be prepared, those felines are unpredictable and cunning. You can never predict an attack.
A low growl in the back of my mind signaled that my wolf was wide awake and ready to carry out the duty Jake have him.
'We must be swift. Luna Ashley is roughly around.. Near 1km away from us at this very moment Peter.' My wolf urged, the energy building up inside him- inside us.
'Gotcha, keep on sending those distance coordinations on the way.'
Scooping up my clothes in my jaw, I burst into a sprint, dodging the trees and heading deeper into the forest. The sound of the pack's morning jostle slowly fading away leaving alone the sound of my paws hitting the earth and the cool wind raking against my fur.
