Tiffany was making pancakes for breakfast. On the side was bacon, and scrambled eggs with cheese. She flipped the pancakes, with the spatula. The smell of bacon, entered her nostrils. Her stomach was talking back to her. "Have patience, my friend!" she said. "You shall be fed!"

"Talking to your stomach?" snorted her younger brother, Dylan. "So original!"

"Shut up, Dylan!" snapped Tiffany.

"Why isn't Mom making the breakfast?" asked Dylan.

"She said, I could do it," replied Tiffany, now putting the pancakes on her plate. She served herself, and Dylan. She poured some orange juice into two glasses. It was now chow time.

"Where the heck is the syrup?" asked Tiffany.

"I used it all!" smirked Dylan.

"You idiot!" barked Tiffany. "How am I supposed to eat my pancakes?"

"Just eat them plain, I guess," said Dylan, shrugging.

"Might as well," sighed Tiffany. And, she did just that.
