After going to the doctor's on Thursday, I got a prescription and some drugs. I was told to rest a little as stress would only compound the problem and not help me get well or in the long run.

So I stayed home on Friday. I already got a text from Nate and Julie worriedly asking me if I was alright. I had assured them I was fine and would probably come to school on Monday. My parents wouldn't have even let me go to school on Friday even if I wanted. But I was very much happy staying home.

I had stayed in bed all day and didn't bother trying to get up. My headache had reduced dramatically after I had a good night sleep that night and I only felt a bit tired on Friday.

Today was Saturday. I was lounging in bed and lying the day away. My mom had prepared my favorite food yesterday and after taking the drugs, my appetite had returned in full force. I had eaten until I was very full and they hadn't let me do anything.

Since it was late morning, they had already left for work and I was home alone. I had turned off my phone after I assured Julie and Nate that I was alright since I didn't need any disturbance. I didn't expect anybody to call since I had very few contacts.

I reach out and grab my phone since I was getting bored. I already felt well enough to get up but I was just plain lazy.

Turning my phone on, my phone showed me messages from not one but two unknown numbers.

I open the first one,

Hi, it's Noah. I was really worried and I also didn't see you in school today, so I'm checking in to see if you're better. Hope you don't mind.

The message was sent yesterday. I smiled because of the fact that he was worried. I don't know why I liked the fact that he cared enough to message me.

Wait.... How did he get my number. The only people, he could have gotten it from was Nate and...... Julie. Of course.

Before I do anything I decide to open the second message.

Hey Hannah. Hope you're not throwing up everywhere anymore.

              -  your favorite person.

I frowned. Who could this be from. Favorite person?

I quickly shoot Julie a text and she replies almost immediately.

Did you give my number out?
                                                   - Hannah

Maybe
              - Julie

I'm taking that as a yes. How could you give my number out to two people without asking me?
                                        - Hannah

I think there was an autocorrect there girl. Don't you mean two hot guys?
                                                           - Julie

You're welcome by the way.
                                                 - Julie.

What would I do with this girl? I stop texting and call her instead.

"Hello, you didn't have to call me to  profess your outmost gratitude. A text would have been just fine." she tells me immediately she picks up.

"Of course, I'm infinitely in your debt." I reply sarcastically with an eye roll.

"No problem" she sounds smug.

"Wait... Which two people did you give?"

"Mason and um.. Noah." Of course, only Mason would call himself my favorite person. He doesn't even come close. I should have known it was him immediately.
