However, I do want to let you know that this is the very first fanfiction that I've ever written, so it is not up to my normal standards for writing.
I started writing this when I was twelve or thirteen, and again, it was the first big writing project that I had ever taken on. So I didn't plan out the book beforehand, which is something that I make sure to do now. That resulted in me writing myself into a corner. I wrote up to chapter thirteen and then gave up and started my Johnny x Ponyboy fanfiction.
For well over a year, this has been rotting in my drafts section. I kept putting off trying to finish it, and for a while I was even contemplating deleting it. But I'm glad I didn't, because even if it's definitely not the best thing I've ever written, it's still part of my writing journey. So I've taken the time to keep it from going to waste. I've finally finished it and I honestly feel a little nervous about sharing (trust me, I've been contemplating publishing this for months now). But it's my first fanfiction, and I want to share.
