Friday Night
(...A few hours later, across town, Ryan and Kayla are sitting in their favorite steakhouse, Morton's the Steakhouse, making eyes at each other and saying sweet things to each other)
Ryan: you really outdid yourself, you look amazing.
Kayla: (blushing) thank you. You clean up real good, too.
(Ryan winks at Kayla, making her blush some more)
Ryan: so...should we talk about what we need to talk about?
Kayla: sounds good to me.
Ryan: well, you and I have been doing this back and forth for awhile now...
Kayla: yeah...
Ryan: well I think it's time I gave you this.
(Ryan takes a box from his jacket and slides it across the table to Kayla)
Ryan: open it.
(Kayla looks at Ryan quizzically before reaching for the box and opening it, revealing a white gold necklace with a pink diamond-encrusted key on it)
Kayla: oh Ryan, this is beautiful.
Ryan: I'm glad you like it.
Kayla: but why a key?
Ryan: (holding her hand) well it's the key to me.
(Kayla looks up at Ryan breathless)
Kayla: what are you asking me, Ryan?
Ryan: I'm asking you this.
(Ryan reaches into another pocket and produces another box)
Kayla: what are you doing, Ryan?
Ryan: (laughing) open it.
(Kayla opens the small white box and takes out a door key)
Kayla: (confused) what is this?
Ryan: anyone can simply ask to be in a relationship. I'm asking you for a little more than that. I'm asking for you to move in with me.
Kayla: move in?
Ryan: that is the key to our condo...if you want too.
Kayla: you're serious?
Ryan: that meeting I had this afternoon? That was with my real estate agent closing the deal. I wanna be with you...I want a life with you. Let's give us a real shot.
(Kayla looks down at the key and then up at Ryan. Without saying a word, she pulls Ryan in and gives him a passionate kiss)
Ryan: (smiling) is that "yes"?
Kayla: definitely. That's all I've wanted from you for months.
Ryan: so why didn't you say anything to me?
Kayla: didn't wanna scare you off. But nevermind, I got what I wanted now.
Ryan: yeah, you do.
(Kayla and Ryan continue their dinner, discussing their new relationship and new apartment. Over at the K5 Lounge – one of the Reigns' family night clubs – Kairo, Dreux, Kile and Ty'leah are sitting to a table together in the VIP section, enjoying a few drinks)
Kairo: I love you dress, Ty!
Ty'leah: thank you. And can we talk about your dress? That sister of your is got skills. I can't wait to see you wedding dress.
Kairo: oh god, I know!
Dreux: whatever she wears, I know she's gonna be beautiful walking down the aisle.
