(A few days have passed, Kristopher and Ty'leah have come back from Little Harvest Caye in a more relaxed state and more in love then when they left. Jordyn has kept her late night encounter with Alexandra a secret and has returned to her own apartment. Kairo and Dreux have established an uneasy friendship. Hazel has been dodging Karlos since he showed up at her home over a week ago. Downstairs in the café, Jordyn is sitting to a customer table having coffee with Kairo and Kayla)
Kayla: so you've been there this whole time?
Jordyn: (laughing) yeah. I took my stuff home yesterday.
Kairo: okay, so are y'all a couple? Are y'all actually together now?
Jordyn: we're...figuring things out.
Kairo: how are you handling this whole Alex situation? It's been about a month.
Jordyn: she's making it difficult. Every time I see her, I wanna choke her out. I don't know how the hell she got my phone number but the phone calls and texts messages have got to stop. I don't know what I'm supposed to do.
Process Server: (approaching the girls table) ah...good morning. The young lady at the counter said I could find Jordyn here?
Jordyn: can I help you?
Process Server: are you Jordyn Mills?
Jordyn: yes.
(The Process Server hands Jordyn an envelope)
Process Server: you've been served.
(The Process Server walks off, leaving the girls sitting in shock)
Kairo: served? You're being sued?
Kayla: what the hell did you do?
Jordyn: I haven't done anything.
(Jordyn opens the envelope and reads the subpoena)
Jordyn: that bitch!
Kayla & Kairo: what?!
Jordyn: that bitch is suing me for assault and battery.
Kairo: (taking the paper) what the hell is going on?
(Kairo reads the top of the subpoena and then shows it to Kayla)
Kayla: no way.
Kairo: did you beat up Alex? Not that I would blame you if you did.
Jordyn: no, I didn't beat her up, she's pregnant. But I did bitch slap her the other night.
Kayla: (sliding the paper back to Jordyn) you need to go up and talk to Kris – this is serious.
Jordyn: (crumbling the subpoena; standing up) oh I'ma go talk a Reigns alright.
(Jordyn makes her way to the back office. Kayla and Kairo take a beat, look at each other and then scramble behind Jordyn, catching up to her just as she slams the paper down in front of Kile on the desk)
Kile: (looking up at Jordyn confused) ah...what is going on?
Jordyn: your ex-girlfriend is suing me for assault and battery.
Kile: (picking up the paper and reading it) what?
Kayla: I think you should and talk to Kris.
Kile: yes, thank you, Kayla.
Kairo: (sitting on the edge of the couch) I think she should finish what she started.
Kile: that's not helpful, Kairo.
