(The next day, Kaleb is sitting in Music Studio One, going over the family song with Brian)
Kaleb: so Dad, I've gone over the lyrics, I had Kairo go over them and I think they are good.
Brian: have you talked to Kristopher yet?
Kaleb: no. I'll track him down today.
Brian: and Kairo is okay with performing this?
Kaleb: yeah. It's for the anniversary gala. She's gonna do everything she can to make that night great.
Brian: I'm proud of you, Son.
Kaleb: thanks Dad. You ready to come out of retirement?
Brian: just let me know when you're ready for me. But no one outside of those on the song finds out. This will be a surprise performance.
Kaleb: I think you'll find a lot of surprise performances that night.
Brian: well alright. Send me a copy of my portions and the basic melody and I'll start working on my part.
Kaleb: yes sir.
Brian: okay. I'm off to another meeting.
(Kaleb fist bumps Brian before he gets up and leaves. Kaleb sits for a minute before unlocking his cellphone and calling Kristopher)
Kristopher: hello, Kaleb.
Kaleb: hey Kris. You in your office yet?
Kristopher: just say to my desk. What you need?
Kaleb: I'm coming up (hanging up).
Kristopher: what...? Hello?
(Kristopher looks at receiver and shakes his head before hanging up the phone. Kaleb leaves his studio and makes his way up to the Executive Floor and down to the Kristopher's office)
Kaleb: (knocking on the open door) what up, Big Brother?
Kristopher: what do you want, Kaleb? I got a lot to do today.
Kaleb: (walking into the office) alright. When's the last time you played the piano?
Kristopher: the piano? Seriously?
Kaleb: yes, seriously.
Kristopher: I don't know, Kaleb. It's been awhile. Why are you asking me about the piano?
Kaleb: I need you to play the piano for me...
Kristopher: I don't have time for this.
Kaleb: I'm dead serious.
Kristopher: okay, fine. Why do you need me to play the piano? What's going on?
Kaleb: I want to add a piano melody to this song I've been working on for the anniversary gala.
Kristopher: Kaleb...I am not an artist. That is your world.
Kaleb: it's a family song. I already got Kairo to agree to sing and she's not an artist, she's a dancer. And Dad's coming out of retirement for this.
Kristopher: (sighing) Kaleb...
Kaleb: I'll level with you Kris. I could get any piano player to be on this track but no one else will play it like you. And this is for the anniversary gala...for Mom and Dad.
Kristopher: go head with that guilt trip, Kaleb.
Kaleb: I don't normally beg for help...
(Kristopher sits down to his desk and looks up at Kaleb)
