Monday
(Kairo has been hiding in St. Louis for three days. Kairo has stayed in bed in Kiari's extra bedroom. Kiari has decided to finally get Kairo out of bed)
Kiari: (standing in the bedroom doorway) hey Kai.
Kairo: (laying across the bed; flipping through a magazine) hey.
Kiari: you been hiding for three days. Time to come out.
Kairo: (closing the magazine) I know.
Kiari: come on. I got some wine, Torhi is out with the boys...it's just us girls.
Kairo: well I can't say no to a good glass of wine.
(Kairo gets up off the bed and follows Kiari into the living room. Kiari pours two glasses of wine and the girls get comfortable on the couch)
Kiari: alright, Kai. Why did you skip Atlanta?
Kairo: Ki, I fucked up so bad.
Kiari: what the hell happened? How did Damian even get back on your radar?
Kairo: he's a lawyer for Reigns Entertainment.
Kiari: how did you guys get to sexing again?
Kairo: because apparently I am a horrible fiancé.
Kiari: and it's over with Dreux...for good?
Kairo: I really don't see how I can make it right.
Kiari: I'm sure everything can be fixed. Look at what Torhi and I have been through and now we're headed to the alter.
Kairo: (getting up and pacing the room) but how? He can't look at me, let alone talk to me. The anger that radiated off of him – I've never seen him that angry.
Kiari: he's a man. His pride is hurt and his ego is wounded. But he still loves you, I can promise you that. He just needs time. He is not trying to lose you.
(Kairo stops pacing and turns to Kiari)
Kiari: and when he's ready to talk, you gotta make him listen. Make him realize you made a mistake, that Damian isn't a factor and that Dreux is all you want.
Kairo: any my unresolved feelings?
Kiari: well damn Kairo, you're human! And you have a weird break up...that you never really dealt with. But you have to deal with them before you talk to Dreux. You owe it to him and yourself.
Kairo: (sitting back on the couch) you're right.
Kiari: (smiling) I know. You guys will be fine. Just give it some time.
Kairo: alright.
Kiari: now you've been moping around my condo long enough. Come with me.
Kairo: where?
Kiari: I need to go down to Derrty Dance Studiio and then I thought we could grab the girls and go have lunch or go shopping. Retail therapy fixes everything (laughing).
Kairo: sure.
(Kiari and Kairo collect their phones and bags and head out for the day. Back down south in Atlanta, Dreux has finally surfaced back at Reigns Entertainment. Today, Brian just so happens to be in the lobby, talking to another employee when he spots Dreux walking through the lobby)
Brian: Dreux!
(Dreux stops and sees Brian walking towards him)
Brian: good morning Dreux. Have you seen Kairo?
