Chapter: 8

So the man in charge introduced me to everyone, Leon is the guy with purple hair, Penny obviously the only the girl and Anton, the albino. Quite the interesting team if I do say so myself.
"I'd say nice to meet you but you're most likely going to get killed within the first month."
Leon says as he crosses his arms looking down on me and right now I'd love to slug him but that'd make me look bad.

"Don't slow us down because we will leave you behind."
Anton says as he's not even looking at me. "Oh don't be like that you two, hi I'm Penny Albir, and my demon's name is pisies, she's like a Flame Atronch from Skyrim!"

Oh. My. God cuteness overload, I shake her hand and I must have been blushing or something because of what Leon said. "Careful rookie, even a snake will smile before it bites you."
Leon at this point just goes to the room he came through.
"Prioritize your training and missions first and having fun second noob."

Anton starts to walk away. "Actually Anton, you'll be the new guy's teacher starting tomorrow night."
Anton freezes in his tracks and gives the man that lead me here the evil eyes.
"Anton he's a shadow demon just like you, you'd be the best teacher for him in the long run."

Anton grumbles as he goes back to his room. "I'll be sure to help with training too, I may not be as great of a teacher as Anton or Leon but what I can teach you is how we operate."
For someone around my age she sure does act innocent,
and this is coming from someone who can read body language and knows a liar when they see it,
this chick literally does not have it in her to lie. "S-sure."

Penny winks at me then trotts back to her room.
"Alright new guy, you get the couch until you've proven you can handel missions, I got big plans for you so don't fuck up,
if for any reason you believe you can't make it with us then please quit, I will understand and won't hold a grudge."

The mysterious man walks on but I catch him while I could.
"Hey, what's your name?"
The man turns around.
"Brandon Yeets."

He replies and walks through a set of automatic doors to a staircase,
I walked around the place and unfortunately I couldn't go anywhere other then the living room and the kitchen which the refrigerator smelled of death,
my stomach growels,
as I feel nausea just by looking at the refrigerator,

I retreat back to the living room and calm myself with television, after several hours go by everyone meets up in the kitchen, my stomach still craving human flesh.

"You want some food?" Penny spooks me from behind, by body releasing a black energy that is somehow visible. "Don't spooke me like that."

Penny comes around the leather coutch and sits down with human flesh and blood on a plate, I want to gag but my body tells me it's dinner.
"Sorry............ you haven't been a Artificial Demon for long have you?"
I shake my head.

"I want to comfort you I really do but for a young blood like you. If you eat this........ you'll."
I can tell she's trying to be nice about it but I still like to think of myself as a human.
If I eat then does that make me no better then the Artificial Demons?
Does that make me no better then Jackal? If I die,

will I go to Hell? I pull my legs up to my chest as I wrap my arms around them.
"If you won't eat this for yourself, will you eat it for me?"
I look at the plate then at Penny, she gives me the most innocent smile ever,
I don't know what it is about this girl but I feel like whatever mental walls I put up, she'll just rip through them like paper.

I take the plate from Penny and eat the bit of flesh which gives Drawnco his fix, it tasted good but I still worry that I'll be accustomed to it,
Penny smiles even more and for the rest of the night I was left alone,
though I bugged Brandon once and asked him if I could drink anything in the mini refrigerator,
to my surprise he thought I was living with him, Leon,
Penny and Anton,
he gave me the okay to drink anything in the refrigerator.
