Chapter 12

So now that I'm on the payroll everyone is expecting more out of me,
I was asigned the city of Mauldin, Penny gets Simpsonville,
Leon gets Fountain Inn,
Brandon covers Columbia, and Anton takes Greenville,
Brandon put me and Anton on 3rd shift working 10pm to 7am,
a eight hour shift,
I may not know the city very well but there is one place in particular that I know of that will let me cover a wide area,
the clock tower.
April 30th through May 1st,
it was 10 o'clock,
the roads were less traveled,
the occasional car or two.
I'm chilling on top of the clock tower, watching everything,
some cars pull up to the ice cream shop below me, nothing out of the ordinary until they started walking.

"Drawnco, partial transformation." My skin becomes a blackish purple color as my fore arms harden and become scaley like, good now that this is activated I can make a stealth kill in broad daylight.
I jump down and create makeshift shadow glider like a flying squirl,
I fly into a Exorcist,
grab ahold of his shoulder then create my favorite shadow short sword with curved blade and impale the son of a bitch, the three by him draw their hand guns and were about to shoot up the ice cream shop trying to kill me until I swiftly cut their limbs off and sprayed blood everywhere two more came up with their swords drawn and I leap over them creating two giant bone like hands out of shadows/darkness, lift them up with those two shadow bone hands and turn them into a bloody paste as I smoosh them both together.

Sense I'm causing quite some stur, civilians running in terror,
Exorcist requsting back up,
all I could see was this black fog like substfloating around and eventually into me.
My body begins growing bigger and getting bulkier like Hulk then my mind goes back to Penny's explanation of fear,
when fear flows into a demon they get stronger.
My focuse comes back when I have three Exorcist coming at me with a P-90, I not only could react fast enough to dodge from anywhere between 5 feet and longer,
I could outright run between all of them as they sprayed them at me and still kill them with hand to hand combat.
"Don't let that Artificial Demon get away!" I start bouncing around from cars to the side of stores,
back to them and wreck their crap with my sword,
I was drenched in so much blood it was unreal.

A Exorcist comes out from hiding behind a car, he drops his helmet and his gun. "No more slaughter, please? I don't want to die! I have a wife and a kid waiting for me back home!"

I could feel his fear entering through me, my demonic instincts wanting to run wild and eat any human I want,
kill anything I want,
next thing I know is I'm approching him, looking at this human as my next snack. "I knew I should have never taken this job!" The human backs away from me.
"Come on man, I have a family! Surely you understand right?!"
The man's pleas continues to get desperate. "I'M JUST TRYING TO FEED MY FAMILY!" I back him into a wall of a small buisness, I ready my short sword to strike him down, the man closes his eyes and readies for the strike.
"Then you shouldn't have chosen this field of profession."
My instincts told me to strike but my heart told me not to,
I strike the wall beside him,
making it collapse.

"I can't do it." I say emotionlessly,
I turn my back to the Exorcist, my hand shakinging as I could feel the high in my body.
I was so close to ending his life, and I'm enjoying all this carnage,
I feel so conflicted as I look at all the blood shed and police arriving onto the scene with ambulance drivers.
"Go. I'm sparing your life, get a new job, and feed your children for me."
I take off running,
not looking back,
I zipped around buildings and heard a loud whistle,
Exorcist were apon me in seconds,
I had no other choice but to flee into a ally, I use partial transformation to dig my lizard like claws into the brick walls,
I climbed as fast as I could before being shot at with their hand guns,
I run like a ninja from rooftop to rooftop examing my surroundings as I go.
