Chapter 15

The Black Exorcist was right before my eyes, the man that teleports,
uses fencing sword style and teleports was right there.
"Hey buddy, if anyone is the side kick it's Phantom Reaper here! I'm tagging along so he doesn't get too destructive!"
The Black Exorcist props his sword over his shoulder and draws his hand gun and fires at Penny from four feet away,
she reacted fast enough to consciously to turn her body into fire itself to avoid a fatal injury.
"Oh ho, so the Scarlet Phoenix title isn't just for show, I'm going to enjoy this!" Penny gets beside me ready for me and braces herself for combat.
"Not that I really care but what's your name?" The Black Exorcist teleports behind us and kicks us both off the wall. I roll over to see the smug son of a bitch standing there on the wall smiling like a asshole.
"Rather then me tell you my name how about we play a game, if you can survive thirty minutes to possibly a hour, I'll consider telling you my name, not that it matters."

He teleports into the air above us, me and Penny roll out of the way and jump onto our feet before he could hit one of us with his devastating axe kick.
"The hell are you? You are not human." He shakes his leg unbotherd by the force, if he was even remotely a normal human he would have broken his leg with that kick alone.
"I'm a super human."
Penny lets me absorb her soul fast as I brace for round two.

The Black Exorcist draws his shirasaya aka the Spirit Blade,
I summon my chiappa rhino revolver handgun and fire at him six times, he dodges five bullets and teleports on the sixth then draws his own hand gun and head shots me,
if I didn't have a drive to win then my healg factor would be useless,
my forhead regenerates the part of the skulk the bullets passed through and reformed my brain and fully heald everything,
I glare at the Black Exorcist pissed,
I attempt to reload my gun but he teleports to me,
grabs my gun and throws it to the side, my chest gets sliced and my body gets shot, it's going to take a lot more then this to put me down but does he know that?

The Black Exorcist rams his shirasaya through me then punches a hole through me and rips my body in half, I turn my two halves into a black mist and regenerate away from him, I reform my new body with my gun back in my hands and fully loaded, I shoot three times and he teleports yet again to avoid all three shots. "Where are you aiming?"

He says in a mocking tone as I get hit by three throwing knives,
I fall to my knees to give him a false sense of security when reality I can make my healing factor push these kives put and heal good as new.
"That was pathetic demon, you thought you could win hound but it was I! Your................... maaaaster?" He says in a confused face as I spin extremely fast creating a minature shadow flame tornado that not only cuts him but also burns his body and scabs up all his cuts, he starts to fall as I get a running start,
I jump and spiral, coating myself in shadow flames and ram him into the building of a junk yard.
"WHAT IN TARNATION?!"
the owner says, unfortunately for him this is a fight to the death so if he gets hit in the cross fire that's on him.
I stop spiraling as I grab the Black Exorcist by his throat and slam him on the floor, creating a explosion and burning down the shop of the junkyard.
"I'M NOT DYING TODAY!"

The shop keep yells a safe distance away from the fight.
"Buhahahahahaha! This is fun!"
You keep thinking that idiot.
I put a shadow rune on him and rag doll him by throwing him around via shadow rune, he ended up teleporting before I could actually throw him myself.
Next thing I know I have this string of energy wrapped around my body,
it was made from aura from what I could tell,
the aura wire constricts my body and sqeezes,
and squeezes until I am cut up like hamburger.
I regenerated only to have him on me in seconds he starts caving in my skull and brain by repeatedly punching me. "TAKE THIS, AND THIS, AND THIS, AND THIS! AND THIS, AND SOME THAT TOO!"

The Black Exorcist starts stomping on my body as well. "WRRRRRRRRRRYEEEEERE!" Okay Dio,

I turn my body into a black mist, regenerate again then fire off my Shadow Execution and zip around a construction crane and drop kick the Black Exorcist into a steel beam.
"AHH!" He yells in pain, I create a small army of Shadow Doppelgangers that I'll dub familiars that trample the Black Exorcist, punch,
kick and stomp on him,
he cuts them up and shoots them but I create more familiars to send at him. He hacks, slashes,  stabs,
teleports, shoots,
punches and kicks them but more keep coming until he cuts them all down.
"You're no run of the mill Artificial Demon, who are you?"
I aim the palm of my hand at him and make a ball out of shadows. "Oh you know, just a real demon is all."
I shoot him with my ball of shadows into a cinderblock wall,
I create two giant shadow flame limbs that look boney then shoot at him as I send another wave of familiars, he ducks behind some junk and apparently adrenaline must really be pumping through him sense he starts throwing all sorts of junk, tires, tools, even resorting to using a cable as a whip.

He teleports away from my familiars and jumps on me, sense he's litterally on me my giant Shadow Golem limbs are useless. "You want a real fucking challenge? I think you bite off more then you can chew!"
I creat three familiars above us that hit us both with a Shadow Flame Rasangone that explodes after slamming us both on the ground.
"Dammit........... dammit!"
He teleports away gripping both of his shoulders,
he was coverd in burns, his Exorcist uniform was cut up,
he maybe super durable but at the end of the day he still has limits unlike me.
"To think a push over like you would get so strong in a few days,
you both wanted to know my name right? My name is Vantis,
but you may adress me as my middle name, Vergil."

Something seems off about him, he isn't the type to give out his name unless he has a trick up his sleeve.
(Careful Seth, he's going to try something!) Vergil looks up at sky then back at us with his arrogant smile.
"Heh, if you can't beat them, join them. TO ANY DEMON OUT THERE THAT WOULD HEAR MY PLEA! I'LL SELL YOU MY SOUL AND BODY SO LONG AS THIS DEMON BEFORE ME IS SLAINE!"
All of a sudden multiple auras were coming from every direction,
all of them so sinister,
so evil that it became suffocating and hard to breath,
Penny let's herself out and helps me calm down.
"It's okay, I'm here, we can win this so long as we work together."
I chuckle, it ain't no shonen protagonist speech about the power of friendship but she does make a point,
if we tag team him,
our odds of winning are better.

Vergil screams in agony as he sqirms in the dirt, coughing,
screetching and digging his fingers into the sand, he stands up just as his eyes roll to the back of his head.

"This isn't Vergil anymore,
so many pure bread demons from Hell have enterd his body,
good news and bad news.
Good news is sense there are multiple demons in his body he can't use elements like us,
bad news is engaging in hand to hand combat is tactical suicide."
I nod, Vergil screetches and I creat my Shadow Golem arms and punch hin away to get that distance and maintain that distance, I then creat a giant shadow sword in both Shadow Golem arms and hack and slash at Vergil,
Penny creates a bow out of fire and pulls back a arrow.
"SCATTER SHOT!"

That one arrow turns into multiple arrows as it sprouts otther arrows from just that one like multiple lines point at the aame word,
the arrows pirce and incinerate Vergil's insides and even hit him in the head and my Shadow Golem's swords split him in half, be attempted regeneration but I make a complete Shadow Golem and smash him into a bloody paste repeatedly with it's arms,
Penny took shots in between and finally when he stopped regenerating I put a bullet in his head and in his crotch just to make sure he was truely dead.
He didn't twitch or budge and sense he tackled me I had his scent. I confirmed he was dead.
"Quickly absorb all those souls into you!" I use soul absorbtion and take in not just Virgil's soul but all the souls of the pure bread demons.
I collapse on the ground,
clenching my head taking in their elements, their true demon forms,
their fighting styles and even their memories,
just like Penny this will take time to sort through.
"Are you okay?"
Penny helps me to my feet. "Yeah, thanks. Let's go home soon kay?"
Penny says kay and for the remainder of my shift, we talked, walked and bonded, when I'm with her, my hearts starts beating faster and I find it harder to look her in the eyes, boy am I in love with her.
