Chapter 25

We arrive at the factory,
it was night time,
around ten o'clock.
We bust down the door and of course lackies block the way to the upper floors, just some random ass Artificial Demons. Sora and Chase jump in instantly,
busting skulls,
Terra uses a fire rune and torches some then merges a fire rune with a lightning rune and punch some lights out,
I climb the stairs with Leon and of course more enemies,
I use shadow execution and take out three by fighting like Spiderman while Leon just beats them up with martial arts, more come down from higher floors and I zip my way to the top leaving Leon to fight them, I ran up the spiraling staircase and bust down the door at the very top,
it was a big empty room and I saw Penny binded down by a rune,
as I went to disable it and giant rock is thrown at me and shatters on impact of the floor,
I look behind me and there was Penny's abductor wearing a white coat, jogging pants and his brown hair slicked back. "The main event finally shows up, my employer said you'd rear your ugly head, barks first and has no bite."

I ignite my fist in shadow flames without a rune,
this guy is a dead man.
Penny incinerates the duck tape on her mouth and tries to tell me it's a trap and to run but watching cartoons,
anime and playing games has tought me one thing, escape is alyway out of the question. "Penny, you just sit tight. I'll be done with him in no time, and when all this is done let's have that talk. Heart to heart."
Penny goes silent on me but I could sense her worry,
meanwhile the douch bag in front of me looks like he's about to gag.
"I'd say get room but you're both going die soooooo, say your prayers and beg for a painless death."
Having enough of this guy's bull shit I rush him.
"I never fought a shadow demon before, this should be quite fun!"
I dodge a punch and judo throw the Earth Demon mercenary at the wall to which he flips and kicks off with his feet,
I jump up and punch him back into the wall, resulting in a few explosions of shadow flames.
The Earth Demon mercenary tries to jump away but I grab him by the foot,
pull him back and punch him into the wall on the other end of the room,
he slides down as I leap up,
front flip and keep the momentum going as I ace kick him to which the Earth Demon mercenary blocks with his arms. I generate a small explosion of shadow flames the second we made contact,
the Earth Demon mercenary gets up with a cocky smile as I march through the fust cloud.

"I take that back, you're not all bark and no bite, however our power differences can't be any further apart. I'm leagues above you."
I ignite my fist in shadow flames again and we have round two,
the Earth Demon mercenary creates a earth rune and turns his arms into solid stone, our fist clash as we create a shockwave, I kick at him and he kicks back resulting in another shockwave as the kicks cancel each other out.
I stretch my left arm like it's rubber and coat it in a shadow rune making it sticky but the Earth Demon mercenary jumps onto my arm, bounces off it like a trampoline then flips in the air as he tries to kick my head, luckily I blocked with my rubber like left arm and he caused next to no damage. My arm fully retracts and I create another shadow rune on both arms creating shadow blades and swing them around like a hidden dagger in a guantlet,
the Earth Demon mercenary jumps around avoiding my blades and the shockwaves to follow.

"For someone that's supposed to be the heaviest demon type you are surprisingly agile."
I state rather bluntly, not trying to get a response.
"You're no sloutch yourself, shame you and your girlfriend gots to die."
He retorts back.
His whole body slowly turns to stone as my skin becomes black and lizard like, both of us stepping up our game and using a partial demon transformation.
"Let's step it up and stop with the warm ups."
I couldn't agree more,
our auras making the factory shake as his green aura becomes visible and my purple aura becomes visible as well.
The Earth Demon mercenary lunges for me and I block in time by crossing my arms, the force was so strong though I slid into the wall.
My left arm throbbing as it was practically turning blue,
he lunges again throwing punches and kicks mimicking my technique by whipping up shockwaves with each punch and kick, I resorted to zipping around with Shadow Execution then coming down with Shadow Flame Rasangone only to have my right wrist throbbing as he took it like a champ, the demon didn't even budge as he chuckles. "A stone body renders strike attacks powerless."
