The next day when I woke up I checked in with Penny and my siblings,
to my surprise Chase was casting a fire rune of some kind,
the rune itself looks more like a fire wolf while Sora casted ice through a ice rune of sorts, similar to Chase the rune was ice blue with the rune image being the form of a ice wolf.
Chase's fire was somehow hotter then Penny's and wouldn't go out unless Chase himself willed it to extinguish,
Sora's on the other hand was blue ice, the strongest form of ice and showed no signs of melting anytime soon or at all.
Terra was shooting lightning from her hands and fingers, all together this was impressive and amazing.
"Damn girl, you trained them good!" Penny scratches the back of her head.
"Not really, all I did was teach them how to make a rune and they did the rest." Huh, so they are naturals,
neat. I talked with everyone over breakfast, lunch in their case and listend to my siblings talk about their training and I told them about my training and fighting Jackal. It was nice catching up with them and then Leon brought up last night with Yuzuhara. "She did what to you?"
Penny is giving me the I'm not angry look but her tone says she's pissed.
"She gave me a kiss on the cheek."
Penny's aura becomes very hostile as I look at Leon, you little shit!
"Would you mind describing this woman?" Leon immediately fixes that and tells Penny that if me and him couldn't take her then Penny sure as hell can't take her either, Brandon plays the over protective dad card and says he'll spank her and ground her if he has to which ends the conversation entierly.
Me and my siblings chilled on the couch, talking about Penny's training, my siblings really like her because of her friendly and out going personality and will be trained by her again, tonight though Brandon wants me,
Leon and Anton in Greenville,
apparently a spy has intel on the Exorcist to relay to us and his safety is of the upmost importance.
Brandon gives us a location and a street adress, meet up is at 8 o'clock am and to make sure we come alone.
As awsome as this is,
I've seen too many movies to know how this plays out,
we gonna be followed,
the spy is likely going to end up dead and a fight will break out with some really high ranking henchmen or something along those lines.
I returned to my room and before bed I invested on getting my mercenary service and name out there,
Akil helped over the phone and I promised him payment when I could see him next, I finally hit the hay at six pm and forced myself to sleep,
2 o'clock am I woke up,
got dressed in my ususal black pants, black T shirt and signature trench coat,
I put my opera looking mask in my coat, me, Leon and Anton mosey.
Four am we were in Greenville just kinda walking around sight seeing,
keeping a low profile and staying out of Exorcist hot spots as much as possible, conversation was basically none existence as both Leon and Anton were listening to music, me? I just turn on a podcast, listen to the radio for a hour or two, watch the stars and finally a hour before the meet up I break the thickest block of ice ever. "So guys, what kind of animes do you like?"
Leon removes his ear buds and Anton takes off his Beats,
Leon all of sudden became talkative told me all about his favorite shonen animes, from Naruto to Bleach and many more.
Anton on the other hand was more unusal in taste,
he liked Jojo's Bizzare Adventure, Hellsing, DC movies and shows,
Bat Man in particular,
he also like any anime that wasn't shonen, we talked that whole hour about anime in general and I felt a lot closer to these guys. Before they'd just kinda brush me off or be anti social but now that I brought anime, these two just don't have a mute button, not that I mind it's just I didn't expect their icey interior to melt so fast.
Our alarms go off and we hike five minutes down the road to a nice little open field, probably a golf course but hey what do I know?
We put on our masks,
Leon wearing a eagle looking mask that covers his eyes and nose but exposes his face and Anton puts on a black raven mask that covers his eyes and nose and has a bigger beak then Leon's mask.
A car pulls up a little ways down the road and two men get out and hike over the hill to greet us. "Green Eagle, Shadow Raven and Phantom Reaper I assume?"
We all nod.
"Just a little safety precaution, what is your boss's name?"
Leon tells him Brandon Yeets and we got the clear.
