FALSE COLORS || Yeonkai ||

CHAPTER 12

Yeonjun loved interacting with people and making new acquaintances and good friends on the long run if possible. He loved to listen to other's view, marvel from their perspective and amuse them with his own observations.

 He believed despite good looks and a pretty face, being attractive is important and for that physical features doesn't matter. You just have to be equipped to interact with anyone and under any circumstance.

Make himself curious, present his own opinions and let people refute it and give their take on things, it helped him grow and learn things. That's what made people attractive and easy to talk to. It's the same thing which fueled his extroverted nature. 

Meanwhile Huening Kai doesn't look like he is having a lot of fun. The boy looks a little constricted, eyes flitting awkwardly. His smiles are so suffocating that Yeonjun can practically feel his pain from the other end of the hall.

He excuses himself from the conversation with two lovely ladies who were a couple, both of them elder than him.

He learnt that one of them was pansexual and the other was lesbian and had been banished from their house for it.

Well that was sad, but he could relate it to one extent. He stalked towards the tall man who looked like he was about to cry from the embarrassment. 

He nodded politely at the people who called out to him and gave some smiles to whom he managed to talk for longer, finally he reached Kai who looked red and was conversing with a couple.

Both men were taller than him, they looked a little intimidating but one of them had a really soft voice with fiery red hair while the other contrasted with his gravelly tone and brown hair. 

He slipped his arm around the blonde's waist, the younger one stiffened before relaxing. "This is my boyfriend, Choi Yeonjun" Kai immediately introduced him and he held out his hand for a handshake.

The brunette's grip was strong and the red head was warm, he held a comforting smile glancing between him and Kai with a strange glint in his eyes.

 "Nice to meet you" They said together and then looked at each other before erupting into giggles.

Kai just looked at him with a smile which in all honesty looked like a grimace. Yeonjun smiled back at him, and Hueningkai gave a slight eye roll.

"Nice to meet you too" Yeonjun announced breaking the couple from eye fucking each other. How grossly would they have to be in love for that, ugh.

"If you will excuse us now, we will meet you later" Yeonjun bows a little and grabs Kai by the waist and walks away. Hueningkai remains stiff in his hold and Yeonjun whispers 'relax' but if anything the blonde goes even more stiff if possible.

"Kai you look like I am kidnapping would you tone it down" Yeonjun hissed in the boy's ear who looked at him blankly.

"Would you stop groping me so hard, we are supposed to act like a couple. We aren't actually a couple" Kai growled back shaking Yeonjun's hand off.

Ouch ok that hurt, he was just saving this man from the awkwardness and this is how he gets paid. All those positive opinions from Beomgyu, Taehyun and Soobin goes down the drain.

Hueningkai proves all of the information he gathered on the boy wrong, every minute he shows a different and unexpected response, Yeonjun doesn't know what to do at this rate.

He feels a little nervous, what If Kai is in some kind of scam and is luring Yeonjun in? Geez at least he has his friends on speed dial. They say never trust appearances but Yeonjun did exactly that with Kai.
