The documentary does not go well, if anything it is the synonym of catastrophe. Yeonjun and Kai decide to keep they way it is, more like Kai did because he wanted originality and news flash it turned up looking lame.
With their flimsy acting and the poor use of the set provided to them, It was supposed to be from the blonde's point of view and from his narrative and yes safe to say it did not go well.
However Yeonjun did learn one thing though, he discovered that Kai had looked at him with a different light. He had painted Yeonjun to be a questionable and loveable asshole.
That was a mix he couldn't quite understand or even know existed until Kai told him about it.
Wow, he is really proud of himself that Kai found him amusing and loveable, but that asshole part was something he would change.
The way they cringed after the documentary was shot was painful, all Yeonjun wished for was to die a painful and excruciating death from all the embarrassment and Kai looked even worse than him. He looked a little green and ready to puke.
With a sympathetic pat to the blonde's back and barely concealing his teary eyes he whispered a broken, 'it's gonna be ok'  trying to comfort Kai despite his own misery.
"Yeah, h-hope so" Kai sounded so broken and honestly who wouldn't after seeing the horrendous video.
It terrified Yeonjun, beside the cringe show they have made, it terrified him that Kai looked at him in this way. Someone to admire, someone to look up to and someone he finds extremely cool.
High school Yeonjun would have basked in the praise, drunk in all the compliments but now, all he feels is guilt for treating the younger like that, pressure is also a siding factor along with. He was literally an icon for someone and he perfectly ruined that.
It scares him, to find out how Kai looks at him now. How Huening Kai sees him currently, the grown up Yeonjun. Those words still lingered with him, he hadn't changed. Maybe that's what Kai sees him as, the same jerk he was in high school.
"Yeonjun, I think they liked it" Huening Kai whispers to him, signaling to the smiling judges. "What the hell?" He whispers back, mouth twisting in a grimace. "It wasn't that good, why are they that awed for seriously?" He hisses and Kai just shrugs.
"This looks sketchy, did we get scammed or something? or is this rigged?" Kai again shrugs glaring at Yeonjun as if to say he doesn't know yet. "How the hell am I supposed to know?" He growls and Yeonjun just rolls his eyes.
"Tch fine, you don't have to be a bitch about it" he says and Kai glares at him again, this time a little more lethal.
"Geez chill" Yeonjun says when the intensity of the glare doesn't go down, with a small 'hmph' Kai turns away. "But you are right, I don't feel any good vibes from the way they are seeing that documentary" He whispers.
They were the first group to present because after Kai had seen the video he decided to give pity to the poor judges, by playing the eyesore first so that later the sting is soothed by the other better videos. Yeonjun did not argue with that, because the boy wasn't wrong with it.
After the horrendous deed, they seated themselves and Brian congratulated them with a pat on their back. Kai smiled kindly and cheered him on, Yeonjun did not bother replying.
If anything, Yeonjun was not a petty person but now he did not feel like dealing with the others. As expected Brian and Eun's video was amazing, the concept was spot on, they were amazing actors.
Yeonjun was in awe but also felt a small pit of jealousy that their video couldn't deliver that. He stole a glance at Kai who looked bored at the presentation.
