Eunkyung POV
Before we could unpack anything that had happened the doorbell rang, "I'll go get it." I hastily said I got up. I looked through the peephole to see Jeongguk's parents. I opened the door and smiled widely at them.
"Good Morning." I greeted as I bowed down. "No need to be so formal." Jeongguk's dad said. I smiled once more, I shifted my gaze onto Jeongguk's mom. I noticed her looking me up and down, "Anything wrong?" I questioned.
She ushered her husband away and led me into the kitchen, "You didn't wear the nightgown?"
"Yeah, Um it was too much for me. Didn't wanna wear it." I mumbled. She patted my back, "That's okay sweetie, everyone has their own pace. I'm sorry for forcing it on you."
I shook my head, "No, it's not your fault. It's okay." She smiled at me and went into the living room. I just stood there processing everything I was just told, I tried to commit suicide? Am I that much of a fuck up?
And I don't even remember it, what kind of freak am I? I always make the company worry for me. Am I not even considerate enough to give them a break? I wake up yelling and screaming too, that's the cherry on top.
I walked into the living room to see everyone gathered in it. "Just in time sweetie." She stated. I stood to the back waiting for her to speak, "Your dad and I got a call last night, Bighit purchased a three-bedroom apartment near the building and you guys will be moving there shortly. New clothes have been bought for Eunkyung and are already set up in one of the rooms."
I looked around the room confused, "But—we can't afford that. How did we purchase it?"
Jeongguk's dad looked at me, "The families pitched in a bit, but it was mostly Mr. Bang." I smiled at them, "Thank you, and sorry. I should've been more careful with my belongings but now I've completely displaced your son." I held in my tears as I looked down in shame.
"Eun! It's not your fault that someone broke into our home! It's not your fault that some messed-up person violated your privacy. It's never your fault!" Hoseok yelled. Even now he was yelling at me,
"He must be really angry with me," I thought to myself.
Complete silence took over the room, "I'm sorry." I whispered.
"What don't you understand? It's not your fault!" He yelled again.
"Hey, let's not yell at her." Jeongguk's dad interfered.
Everyone was quiet. No one knew what to say, no one knew what to do. I felt helpless.
What was I doing with my life?
The silence stretched on, torturing me with all the thoughts and emotions running through my head. I was a fucking mess.
I couldn't breathe.
I couldn't see.
I couldn't think.
And soon enough my vision grew dark and I hit the ground.
-
I woke up on a soft mattress. It wasn't as soft as the Jeons' mattress, but it was better than the one in the dorm. I peeled my eyes open and looked at the pale yellow walls.
My ears went hot at the loud noise, "Eun! You're up!"
"Be quiet, you're gonna make her head ache." Another voice scolded with a lower tone, "I'm fine Yoongi Oppa." I mumbled as I sat up.
"You had a panic attack. We were at the Jeons' house. Now we're in our new dorm. This is your room but you'll be sharing it with Hoseok. Is that okay?" He informed.
"Thank you for that recap, and yeah I can share my room with him. I don't mind." I answered. I looked towards the other bed in the room, and there he was. Staring at the wall, it seemed like he refused to look at me.
"Hobi Oppa" I called out.
"What?" He replied coldly.
"I'm sor—"
"What's wrong with you! I just told you, there's nothing wrong with you stop apologizing!"
I didn't understand, if he didn't want to apologize why was he yelling at me?
"Hoseok! Stop yelling at her!" Yoongi scolded.
"Yeah, take her side! You never cared about me anyway!" Hobi yelled as he slammed the door closed. I and Yoongi shared eye contact, "It's my fault isn't it?" I questioned softly.
"Baby, it never was and never will be. Hobi just needs to get his feelings in check. It's neither your fault nor Hobi's. It hurts me to say this but wash up we've gotta get back to work."
"Yeah, give me a minute."
"You aren't angry? You didn't have any sort of rest." Yoongi questioned.
"I understand that I signed up for this and I've got to take responsibility for it." I nodded my head and got up. Yoongi-Oppa pointed towards the bathroom, and I cleaned up. I stepped out and changed into some sweats knowing that we would practice the new choreo for about 10 hours.
We headed to the company in silence. None of us wanted to speak up about the obvious awkward air and the tension that me and Hobi—Hoseok shi had. The second we arrived at the company Sejin shi led us to Bang PD nim's cabin.
We were made to stand in a horizontal line and a few minutes later he spoke, "You guys fought?"
I looked at the others then shrugged, if they weren't going to say anything neither was I. PD-nim sighed, "Listen. I trust you guys enough so I'm going to trust that you'll get over your fight before you go to America."
It took a moment for us to realize, "Eh? America?" Namjoon questioned.
PD nim smiled and nodded, "We signed a deal for a show called American Hustle life, I'm sure you guys can pull up some videos online and do your research."
We nodded, still in shock at the fact that we were going to America.
