The way home was the most awkward trip they all had ever experienced in their whole lives.

No one of them said a word.

Duusu was a bit confused by that while Plagg was just enjoying a piece of camembert he stole from the restaurant.

After returning home they didn't even went to eat and just go to their respective rooms without talking.

Nathalie sat on her bed and covered her face with her hands.

"I'm sorry..." Duusu said.

Nathalie looked at the kwami and smiled.

"I'm not angry... they would have remembered anyways..."

At least she wouldn't have to think of a way to tell them the truth anymore.

"Do you think it's going to be all right miss Nathalie?"

"I don't really know for sure... we have to wait and see..."

Nathalie looked down at her feet in frustration but a knocking on her door made her jump.

"Yes?"

"May I come in?"

It was Gabriel.

Nathalie panicked.

"Uhm... yes"

The door opened and Gabriel walked inside the room.

He just stopped by the window looking out but keeping his back to her.

"I... remember" he said.

"I know"

"Everything... from the wish to the accident..."

Nathalie was silent.

"So you found the miraculous..."

"Yes..." Nathalie looked at him.

Would he just try to take them from her?

Nathalie was ready to stop him but with her surprise the man just started sighing.

"It wasn't a good idea... Emilie... that reality wasn't... real!" he said.

Nathalie frowned.

Gabriel turned around, Nathalie could see tears running down his cheeks.

"Oh Gabriel..." the woman said opening her arms to him.

The man walked towards her and threw himself into her.

She wrapped her arms around him and she hid her face into his neck as he was crying into her shoulder.

They stayed like that for a while.

"I missed you..." Nathalie finally murmured softly.

"Me too... I missed you and Adrien so much..."

Gabriel looked up at her.

"I'm afraid he won't forgive me..."

Nathalie smiled.

"He will... you are his father after all"

Gabriel lowered his eyes and placed his head back on her shoulder, she could feel his heart beating fast and his whole body shaking.

She kept caressing his back untill he started to calm down a little then another knocking on the door made them both jump.

"May I come inside?"

That was Adrien.

"Sure" Nathalie said.

She could feel Gabriel's hand squeezing hers.

Adrien opened the door and walked into the room, he looked at both of them for a moment then he threw himself into their arms.

Both Gabriel and Nathalie were shocked.

"Why did you make that wish?" the boy asked crying.

Gabriel didn't know what to say and stayed silent.

"I was worried about both of you! You even got hurt father!"

"Yes..." Gabriel murmured.

"Why didn't you listened to me?"

"I should have listened to you... I shouldn't have expressed that stupid wish..."

Adrien looked at him as his father held him closer.

"I should have moved on from your mother and I shouldn't have chased the miraculous... I only made you suffer... you didn't deserve it..."

Nathalie placed her hand on his shoulder.

"And I should have stopped you from trying... I honestly wasn't sure it was a good idea anymore but I just... didn't do anything and I regret it"

"You shouldn't!" Gabriel said.

Nathalie looked at him.

"Why? I didn't do much for you..."

Gabriel took her hand in his.

"You did a lot for me... for Adrien too... you cared about us and you took care of me when I was hurt..."

Nathalie blushed thinking back to that time.

"You made me feel better... even if Emilie wasn't here" the man said.

Adrien looked down as tears were wetting his face.

"I missed her too but I knew we had to move on... life goes this way..." the boy said.

He looked at his father and smiled.

"It was nice to see her again though"

Gabriel smiled.

"Yes it was Adrien..." he said while holding his son and crying.

Nathalie was also crying but as she watched father and son crying together holding each other she was sure all would have been all right.
