I was woken up by a knowck on the door. I pulled myself up out of bed, yawning. "Come in." I stretched, cracking my back, as Newt entered. "Oh, hey." I greeted him, mildly surprised and shocked he was in my room, but he seemed unfazed. "Big day, Greenie." I groaned. "Please don't call me that." Newt laughed. "Better get used to it, today is Building day." I turned back around. "I'm going back to bed." I fell back onto the bed. "If you're late, you will never hear the end of it, from either Alby or Gally. At least Gally might keep his distance, considering he's got a bruised chhekbone and sore back from last night." I smiled at the thought of beating Gally. "Okay, I'm coming."

"Morning!" Thomas and Chuck greeted me on my and Newt's way to the Homestead. "Minho's already there with Issy. They got us our food." Chuck explained to us. Newt nodded. "Okay." I said. "Lead the way."

We got to the Homestead and sat straight down at the table. I sighed when I saw what was for breakfast. Vegemite or honey toast with bacon. I gave the honey sachet to Issy, spredaing the Vegemite on my toast. "Tommy, d'you want my bacon?" I offered. "Wait, you don't eat bacon?!" Minho looked shocked. I shook my head as Thomas used his fork to take the bacon off my plate. "Neat! Thanks Amy!" Thomas looked really happy as he gobbled down the bacon. I laughed as I finshed my toast. "Shower?" Issy asked. I nodded. "Yeah, your turn to go first." She nodded as she put her plate on mine and left it with Chuck. "Let's go." I said to her.

I took my time in the shower, not wanting to have to face Gally all day. When I was done, I tied up my hair high so it wouldn't get in the way, then I walked over to Gally and the Builders. When I got there, the Builders cheered, laughing. Gally shot them a deathly glare that could freeze boiling water, and the yelling stopped instantly. "Time to get to work, shank." Gally leered at me. I rolled my eyes. "Ready for anything."

I was one of those people who didn't sweat, but the way Gally worked me made the stuff stream out of my pores. I wiped the sweat off my brow as I swung the axe again and again, cutting the tree down, then dragging it over to Gally, not complaining once. I dumped the tree in front of him, and he looked surprised at my speed.

Gally glared at me. Then he pointed to the tree. "Chop it up." He said, looking smug. I resisted the temptation to punch his nose again, not wanting to seem mad, but instead appear calm and cool. "Yes, Captain Galby." I smothered a laugh as I bent down to the tree, picking up the axe. Gally was sputtering behind me. "What did you say?" He was red again. "Nothing." I said. "Galby." I whispered under my breath. "Why are you calling me Galby?" Gally appeared really mad, and when I looked at him, I couldn't help but let out a laugh. "Because you are always sucking up to the leader," I wheezed, still laughing. "So I shipped you!" I was laughing so hard at his face that I was laying down on the ground and I could hardly breathe. When I finally stopped laughing, I turned back to him, wiping the tears off my face. "Go on then - tell Alby what I said. Confess." I started laughing again, and this time I didn't stop, and Gally - or should I say Galby - stalked off, muttering to himself angrily.

I swung the axe again and again, every now and then having to stop because the name Galby popped into my mind and I started laughing all over again. When I had finished, I went to get a drink from the kitchen. I knew Issy was in there, and a drink was a good excuse to see her. I opened the door to see Issy slyly reaching into the jar to get out a cookie. Surprised, I called out, "Hey!" giving Issy a fright and making her fling the cookie over her shoulder. It flew through the air and hit Frypan square in the middle of the forehead. He cried out, "Where the shuck did this come from?! It's raining cookies!" making me and Issy crack up laughing. "It was you guys! Naughty, naughty!" He shook his finger at us.

Silently, Issy hand creeped up to the jar of cookies. She popped the lid off, and it made a noise. Frypan cried out as we ran, me yelling "Grab the cookie jar!" and Issy running behind me on my heels. I spin around to see if she's okay, to find she's dropping the cookies, them raining behind her, slowing Frypan down in his pursuit of us. "Come back you cookie stealing shanks!" he yelled. Fortunately for us, he was not used to running and had to stop. As me and Issy got to the Deadheads, Issy turned around long enough to yell out, "Sorry, I'm not usually naughty!" then she followed me up one of the trees, where we sat, munching on our cookies.

Suddenly, as we were still eating our prizes, one of the Glader's heads pop up beside us on the branch. Surprised, we fling the cookies at the intruder. We hear them make contact, and tumble from our perch, thankfully landing on our feet. We heard someone yell out, "What the bloody shuck?" and we knew instantly it was Newt. "Sorry!" I apologised as he landed beside us, just as gracefully. "You sure have to say sorry a lot! What where you shanks doing?" He commented. Issy was was looking at the ground, ashamed, but when she glanced up she saw Newt cracking up laughing. "You guys threw bloody cookies at me? Where in this klunky place did you get cookies from?!" Issy started laughing too. "My boss for a day!" She said between laughs.

We told the whole funny story to Newt while we were sitting up on our tree branch, nearly falling out with laughter a few times. Then I decided to tell what happened with Gally - and what I was calling him - when Issy laughed so hard she actually fell out of the tree and toppled to the ground. She landed on her back, screaming as she went down. Me and Newt gave each other a look before we chuckled and jumped down to help Issy up. "Well, good job with Gally and Frypan, but you guys should probably get to work. The only problem with that is that they probably don't want to see you again today, so you guys may as well rest in your rooms for the last hour of work time before dinner. "Wait, what if Frypan poisons our food?" A look of horror shoots across Issy's face. "I'm sure he won't - Tommy has done the same thing, and he's fine." I gave him a look that said Yeah. Totally fine. About as fine as Gally. and Newt went off in the direction of the Gardens to go back to work, while we headed off to our rooms, laughing all the way.

A/N:
I don't know about you guys, but I was laughing really hard when I wrote about Galby and Issy flinging a cookie at Frypan - I'll never be able to eat a cookie without laughing again!
