I recieved the outburst this time. I had to resist putting my hands over my ears it was that loud. More memories were flashing through my head by the second. My head was pounding. The noise was deafening, echoes in my head. I couldn't handle it. More memories of my brother and siter and their shrill cries of torture made the cries of the Keepers seem like mice. Visions - memories - of me being tortured beside them and Clint, forced to fight them, forced to kill them - flashed through my head. I couldn't sit there any longer.

A sob escaped my lips as I stood up and walked out, beelining for the Deadheads. Tears ran down my cheeks as I sprinted there. I had my hands pressed over my ears. Nobody saw me running for the trees, crying. When I got to the Deadheads I kept running to the middle of the forest and I sat down at the base of a tree, curled up, and cried. I don't know how long I was crying for when I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Amy?" An accented voice whispered. I was too tired to pull away as I usually would have. Newt pulled me into him, and I cried more, wetting his shirt with my tears.

It took me a minute to stop crying and realise I was in Newt's lap, crying my eyes out. I was horrified. I had never opened my heart to anyone, and, as much as I felt I liked Newt, I didn't want him to see the darkness roiling in my soul. I roughly pulled myself out of his lap and stood up, stalking away to a tree that I climbed and sat down on a high branch. I heard Newt sigh and climb up behind me. I felt bad, as I could tell this tree was difficult for him to climb, with his limp. Still, I didn't face him. Unfazed, he put an arm around my shoulders, so I turned to him. "What do you want?" I snarled. He bit his lip. "D'you want to talk about it?" He sounded sincere, so I looked at him. Warmth flooded my heart as I looked at his face and a tear slid down my cheek. Before I could get rid of it, Newt wiped it away gently. "I killed them Newt." I whispered.

I felt Newt sigh. "Can we talk about this on the ground?" He said gently. I gave him a fierce glare, but hopped nimbly down to the ground and sitting at the base of the tree. Newt sat beside my and I softened slightly. He noticed and pulled me into his lap again. I stiffened. He put his arms around me, and for some reason, I felt safe. "No one is coming. Do you want to talk about it." I stood up slowly and began pacing infront of him. He watched me, worried.

"I was tortured by the Creators. They call themselves WICKED - it stands for World In Catastrophe: Killzone Experiment Department. WICKED tortured the siblings together. Me, Clint, Amara and Jason were all tortured side by side. They made us do horrible things - fight each other stupid. We were weak. They hardly fed us." I stopped pacing. "They forced me to kill them both. I killed Amara and Jason. I did Newt. Me. I am a murderer. I killed my own brother and sister!" I yelled that last part.

Newt sat in silence for a minute. Then he stood up and walked over to me, pulling me into an embrace. Surprised, I stiffened but then melted into the hug, squeezing him back. Another tear ran down my cheek, then I pried myself away. "No Newt. I am not who you thought I was. I - " Newt shook his head. "They forced you too. WICKED bloody made you. And when we meet those bastards, I am going to klunk them up." Newt said passionately. "WHy do you care so much?" I said quietly. Newt looked at me, and I was surprised to see tears in his eyes. "Why do you think?" He said softly.

Then he shook his head roughly. "I - I like you Amy. I am sorry if that ruins our frienship. You - " I cut him off by pressing my mouth to his. Surprised, he stood still, but soon snapped out of it and softened. He put his hands on my lower back and pulled me close. When he broke away, I saw he was crying. "I love you Amy." He croaked. "I love you too, Newt." I leant up to kiss him again but he pulled away. Hurt, I stepped back. "Newt?" I said softly. "I don't deserve you." He said roughly. "I don't care." I pulled him close again, and we stood there, holding each other, hugging for what seemed like an eternity but was cut short by someone laughing hysterically.

I jumped away from Newt to see Minho rolling on the ground with laughter. He had tears in his eyes from laughing. I was bright red, I could tell. Newt looked flushed too. "Minho, you slinthead!" I cried. Minho stopped laughing long enough to stand wobbly and say, "I'm gonna tell the whole shucking Glade!" then he started laughing again. Mad, I walked up to him and thumped his arm roughly. "Ow!" Minho cried. "If you tell anyone, you will be very klunked up tomorrow." I hissed at him. "Okay, okay!" He muffled a laugh with his hand. "Sorry - but Alby and the Keepers are wanting to know more about your memories." I sighed, and, hand in hand with Newt, I walked towards the Keepers and the questions and the memories I wished I could leave in the past.

A/N:
Okay it took me a while to stage the kiss! One thing I didn't plan - how do you ship Amy and Newt? Suggestions are very welcome! Hope this chapter was okay!
