i tripped over every fault in our relationship,
because it was no way near perfect,
but i still ran that race,
because it was well worth running,
and you also may have fell,
yet we still helped each-other back up each time,
and although i didn't make it in first place
or second,
or even third,
to the finish line,
although i came last,
i suppose it meant i was your last love.interpretation:
a short simple poem as a reminder no relationships are completely perfect and it's completely normal to have arguments or disagreements every now and then and that if you and your s/o really love each other you will work through them in a healthy way.
