i'm not sure if it was a coincidence,
but god i have so much confidence,
that it was just fate,
even if you're in a completely different state.
and when you light up my screen,
no message will go unseen,
because the excitement we had to see the moon together,
made me want to stand by you forever.
even if we're are multiple miles apart,
at least you'll never be a moon away from my heart,
you taught me a person is a home,
even if to find that person i have to roam,
it doesn't make me love you any less,
because it will be so worth it in the end i guess.
