Erratic: Chapter 31: Court-ship.

"Thanks for dropping me off!" I thanked Miguel as I hugged him.

"No worries, you always act like it's always the first time I'm dropping you off." Miguel chuckled.

"Hey! It's a good thing that I thank you all the time." I defended.

"Yeah..yeah.. See you later." He called out because I was 3 metres away from his car.

"See you!" I waved and turned my back towards Miguel as I made my way to our front door.

My brothers should be home by now and I could also tell that they're already here because their cars are already parked. I assumed that the front door would be locked for safety reasons so I got my house key out of my bag and opened the door. I heard the TV on the living room and it seems like they're watching The Notebook, which is my all time favourite romantic movie. My brothers wouldn't watch chick flicks on a day-to-day basis so their girlfriends are probably here. I walked to the living room to tell them that I'm home and also greet them.

"Hello! I'm home." I smiled as I saw the two couples cuddled up. They're so cute and perfect for one another.

"Hi Lil' sis!/ Hi Macy!" They greeted.

"There's some food on the counter top." Macky informed me.

"Okay. I'll just be up my room. I'll eat in a bit." I told them.

I went up to my room and turned my Macbook on. I went on YouTube and searched 'Megan Nicole'. I'm a really big fan of her, she's really good at singing and she's amazing at song writing. I played my favourite song of hers which is 'B-e-a-utiful' and just sang along whilst I changed into my comfy clothes. I got my grey track pants, my blue shirt and my fluffy white socks. I opened a new window on my Macbook and checked my channel. I'm so close to 100,000 subscribers and it's so surreal to know that 98,452 people are subscribed to my channel. Wow. The last video that I uploaded was a cover of Megan Nicole's 'B-e-a-utiful' (I really love that song as you can see) and I've been receiving positive feedbacks from my viewers, which is really heart-warming.

My stomach started rumbling since it's been 3 and a half hours since I've put food into it so I closed my laptop and made my way to the kitchen. Oh! Macky made quiche! I took a slice of quiche and put it on my platter. I also took a glass of water and I sat on the breakfast stool. I ate the quiche with my fork and took a sip of water from time to time.

When I was eating, my mind managed to drift off to Chase's question. I told him that I'm going to reveal my answer to his question tomorrow. I don't know why I said that; I don't even know what to answer yet. If I just answer the question without weighing the pros and cons, then I would surely say yes but that's the thing, I need to weigh the pros and cons before I start to jump into this... courting relationship, court-ship?

Let's get the pros, Chase is going to court me. The guy that I like will court me. I will finally have a guy that I’ll show to my parents. I'm most likely going to be happier and stuff.

The cons, this could affect my studies (not really if I don't let it affect my studies.) and I could end up being hurt. ‘Could’ being the keyword. For all I know, Kendra could be right, Chase could easily break my heart and hurt me. Kendra's warning bothers me a lot, does that mean that she knows something? Or is she just saying random things to convince me to go with her plan? I don't even know!

Am I over-thinking? I mean I'm just going to allow Chase to court me. I'm not agreeing into being in a relationship yet. Oh god, god knows what it'll be like when he asks me to be his girlfriend. I'll probably go crazy whilst thinking of what I should answer. I'm most likely overthinking. It's not a relationship yet. I'm just going to decide and see where this takes me. Let's just hope that I'm not making a mistake for making this decision. I'm going to say--
