Erratic: Chapter 3: Bad Mix.

"What's the matter girls.... and boy?" Coach asked.

"Nothing Coach just doing some things for tomorrow. Please don't mind us." I spoke. From that, all of them ignored us and continued with what they're doing.

We walked around the basketball court and I can't help but look at Chase playing... he's really good at playing, he might look like a sweetheart outside the court but once you see him in the court, you will see his really determined and concentrated look which kinda look like he would slay anyone who gets in between the team winning.

Before I stare at him until he melts, I looked away and concentrated on what I had to do. I walked around the court looking for good angles of the camera and telling Lilliane and Kegan where they should consider taking the pictures.

  By the end of our tests, we ended up with three different angles. I know that we only have two photographers for the game but we decided that Kegan would capture pictures of the players meaning that he would be near the court and then Lilliane would be somewhere around the crowd so that she could capture the crowd's view point of the game and also she would be able to take some shots of the crowd. So now....

Now I have to have a chat with Chase about who will be playing tomorrow. I'm so nervous, what if when I'm talking to him I would suddenly spit out that I'm his secret admirer, that would be so embarrassing. Anyway, the team is still having their practice but if I'm not mistaken, Coach Lowry said that they would have a break in 6 minutes. So whilst Kegan and Lilliane were practicing their angles by taking photos of the practice, I sat on the bleachers seat and looked through my clipboard as I wait for the players' practice to end.

  As expected, 6 minutes later, Coach Lowry made the players get their 30 minute break time as he went off, probably to organize something in his office. I let Chase have a little time to rest first before I walk up to him. He had his back turned to me while talking to Michael and Nathan so when Michael and Nathan spotted me walking up to them, Chase turned around and saw me.

"Uhmm.. Can I talk to you?" I asked. Nerves please calm down and we won't have to worry about anything anytime soon.

"Sure. I was expecting this anyway" He answered. We walked away from his other teammates who were whooping, I have no idea why so I raised my eyebrow towards them.

"So... It's about the yearbook. I'm guessing that you already know that." I stated.

"Yeah Miss Avah told me what you guys have to do." He answered. Oh yeah.. so that's why he told me that 'we'll talk later anyway'..oooh...

"Ok.. I'm going straight to the point cause we still have some other things to do," I chuckled, "so who's playing for tomorrow?" I added.

"Ummm..." He started and then he went on about who's playing for tomorrow and some subs whilst I go on and write the name of the players on a piece of paper on my clipboard.

"Oh okay, thanks.." I said once he finished. "Oh yeah, when would you want to have your interview for tomorrow?"

"I'd have it after the game, I'll be busy with Coach before the game." He answered

"Ok, thank you. I gotta go."I said

"Bye." He waved.

"Bye, thank you again." I smiled as I gave him a little wave.

Today's the day. Today's the 100th Basketball Game held in SBC. We only have half a day in school and that's because we're only here today because of the game. Only the high school (Year 8-12) students are allowed to go and the primary students has a free day off of school. Since I'm in Year 10, I'm allowed to go... along with Theo, Samantha, Jane, Chase and their classmates who are in Year 11; Athena and Max, my older brother from Year 12, along with their classmates are watching as well. I had to go to school early today so I could prepare Kegan and Lilliane for the game and to do some last minute check on things.
