Erratic: Chapter 26: We're not dating.

"The love birds are finally back." Samantha teases and the others went along with her, making me glare at them.

If you're wondering who the 'love birds' are, it's apparently Chase and I. Chase asked me to go and buy food with him and I did. Some people were staring at us when we were walking together and it was making me really uncomfortable so Chase wrapped his arms around me but then that made me even more uncomfortable [but really comfortable at the same time] because people started whispering whilst they stared at us, some even openly asked if we were dating. We shouldn't even be considered as love birds. We're simply just friends and one of us happens to have feelings for the other one, no I'm obviously not talking about Chase. After Chase asked me to be his date to prom, we began to grow closer and closer and it stimulates other people's brains into thinking that the two of us are apparently 'dating'. We're not. 

"What love birds are you talking about?" I pushed on.

"So what did we miss?" Chase changes the topic as I went ahead and takes a seat next to Lilliane. Chase then seats next to me, making our friends tease us more.

"We were just discussing some plans for Saturday. We ended up with going to the movies... you both up for it?" Hayden explained as he sat next to Bree.

If people think that Chase and I are dating then they definitely haven't seen Hayden and Bree. Hayden and Bree are already acting like a couple, they would fight over the smallest things sometimes but the other would suddenly find a sweet way for the two of them to be back to normal. Normal being all cute and sweet with each other. I can't believe that they're not dating yet. They definitely have a mutual understanding for one another though. I could tell that they both like each other, as in the more than friends kind of 'like'.

"I'm up for it. Can I bring Katie, Bella, Tina and maybe Jeremy if Tina brings her boyfriend?" I suggested but then I saw Mike who's sitting beside Shirley, suddenly remembering that Mike is Tina's ex-boyfriend, "If that's alright with you Mike.'

Katie, Bella, Tina and I have grown pretty close to one another, Bella, Tina and I would usually hang out in the Yearbook Team Office since Katie joined the dance club and not the yearbook team but I do get to hang out with her in the choir/music club since she's one of the pianists there whilst I'm just a singer there. I could play a couple of instruments like piano, guitar, drums and glockenspiel but I wouldn't call myself a professional at playing those instruments since I don't think that I'm that good at playing those instruments. All four of us would actually hang out during our free periods sometimes.

"Oh It's totally fine!" Mike says as he directly smiled at Jason and elbowed him teasingly.

I'm glad that he's now fine with Katie. I mean stereotypically speaking, exes doesn't get along well once they break up, also, your ex doesn't help set you up with his friend, just like what Mike is doing with Jason, he's been helping him get closer to Katie.

"Okay, I'll go ask them later." I said.

"Cool! What about you Chase, you going with us?" Michael asked.

"For sure! If Macy's going then I'm going." Chase answered as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

Times like this are the times where my heart would skip a beat. Why is he like this? I don't want to fall for someone who wouldn't be there to catch me.

"Awwwwwwwww" The girls aww-ed as I rolled my eyes at them and shrugged Chase's arm off my shoulder.

"Just date already!" Bree screamed playfully.

"Who should? You and Hayden?" I retorted, making Bree and Hayden blush. I laughed and the others laughed along with me.
